Went here with some customers recently when visiting Poland and Warsaw. Being near their factory,…read morethis was a place they frequent and were happy to take me to. I had no idea what to expect but was absolutely amazed. This is a beautiful little Polish restaurant with a very rustic decor that serves some very traditional styles of Polish food. But the great thing is, it's attached into a horse stable business where while you eat you can directly into the training arena for the horses under a large roof. Then afterwards you can walk around and see the stables and areas where the horses are kept, trained and very well cared for. We started with some type of traditional Polish soup which was amazing and then I had some type of pork cutlets in gravy over a grainy like barely sort of thing which told was from corn and was very healthy and very Polish. Plus there was a little salad bar area where you could fix a bowl of this really tasty cabbage salad with veggies and marinated beet root. Finding this place is not the easiest as it's down a long gravel very rutted out road. But totally worth finding and I was grateful for the experience.

If locals like it or hate it I don't know. The decorations inside gives a very rustic and macho feel with massive wooden furniture, tremendous wooden carvings and a few bear skins hanging around. The waitresses are dressed in what I guess is tradtional costumes and they are polite, attentive and sweet, but utter useless in english. I will work on my Polish until next time so we can communicate better :-) I ordered a beet root soup with dumplings for starters and it was really, really good. For the main course I went for the breaded pork chop with potatoes and three types of fermented vegetables. I especially liked the vegetables and the only thing I missed was some sort of sauce so it wouldn't be so dry. All in all a great place that I would come back to for more delicious Polish meals.

We had dinner there one night and we were very impressed with the food. I have two children with celiac disease and although they do not have a gluten-free menu, the chef came out personally and had a discussion with us about what he could prepare for our children that was gluten-free. We were very appreciative and would definitely recommend this restaurant.
