It had been raining, windy, and cold and after a full day outside, all we wanted was some hot and comforting Polish food close to the hotel. After some research, I found Klimaty Poludnia 300 meters away. When we got there, the place was booked but the owner was incredibly kind, going as far as telling us about three competitors with good Polish and finding their numbers for us. However, after hearing it was our last night, she sat us on the patio with heaters and blankets (We were perfectly dry and cozy all night!). The owner recommended hot wine. We had an amazing server named Monika! She brought us the hot wine, it was the best we've ever had! TL;DR incredible polish fusion with even more incredible staff.

So I don't just like Klimaty Południa, I love it with all my heart. I've been back many times since and there's always a great atmosphere, the happy buzz of contented and relaxed diners, smooth, well-organised and professional service, a thoughtful and varied menu and of course a really good wine list. Ask for recommendations and spend a little more than you usually do, because the staff are knowledgeable and passionate about their wine and they'll encourage you to find something that may become a lifelong friend.
