Unfortunately I had to short-sell my home - what a NIGHTMARE!! Until I contacted Lilan and Fabi at Synoptic. I was working with a local realtor when BofA turned down a CASH offer that was almost full value of my home because the bank wanted $5k more. The people walked, the realtor rolled. The Synoptic team stepped in and patiently worked with the bank who couldn't care less if it sold or foreclosed. After 2 months of providing and re-providing information, the bank said "whoops, we lost all of the data you've input due to a glitch in our system. You'll have to submit it again!" Jasmine spent hours and days resubmitting everything. In the meantime Lilian would drive to San Ramon to help stage my home and conduct several open houses while Fabi would negotiate with the bank mostly via email because BofA won't communicate with humans! This review is long overdue. I have personally known Lillian and Fabi for over fifteen years. I can't say enough good things about them and the entire Synoptic team, including David and Jasmine! Over the past fifteen years, they have helped us (my husband and I) to purchase three homes and sell two homes. They were there to hold our hands during our first purchase as young, nervous first time home buyers. They were there to help us buy our first investment property. David actually drove out several times to Sacramento to show us houses in that area. Who does that? The Synoptic team, that's who. When we had kids and wanted to upgrade and move into a competitive neighborhood, they were there to help us as well. I am not sure how others' experience with her, Lilian. I found her very unprofessional. I asked her help to put an offer for me for one of her listing properties. Two days after I put an offer, she asked me if I can offer more (~10-11K). I told her that's my highest offer and I am not willing to go any higher. She told me, they have people put higher offer and another one put the same offer as me with more down payment. Since I am not willing to go higher, she told me she would counter offer everyone, which was fine with me. So I was waiting for the counter offer but I received nothing. The next day (Thursday) which I was still waiting for counter offer, she gave me a call telling me that they decided to accept me offer (I wasn't able to answer my phone, so she left me a voice mail). When I called her back to confirm, she said she would call me tomorrow (Friday). So I was waiting for her phone call whole day, of course, she didn't call me back. I tried to reach her twice and left her msg, still no call back. Then I asked my boy friend to find her. He also left her voice mail. In the evening, she finally returned my boy friend's call, NOT ME. This time she told my bf that she received another two offers last night (Thursday), and both offers came in 10-11K more than my offer. She would like me to stop by her office to talk about the $$ again. I was like....I thought she has accepted my offer. How could she turn around and accepting other offers? My experience with her....she is not professional at all. On top of that, she is not honest what so ever. read more
