Think Again Laser Clinic - Conversation with the owner Mike Anderson

I had a very disappointing experience with this eyebrow tattoo removal business and the way I was…read moretreated throughout the process. I booked an eyebrow tattoo removal appointment and paid a deposit. Unfortunately, the appointment confirmation text went into my spam folder, so I genuinely did not see it and therefore did not confirm the appointment by text. I later provided a screenshot proving the message was in my spam folder, but I felt like the owner still did not believe me and dismissed my explanation completely. What upset me most is that when I didn't confirm the appointment, nobody attempted to call me. If confirmation was required, I believe the appointment could have simply been cancelled instead of expecting me to pay another deposit after I had already paid one. When I tried explaining the situation over the phone, the receptionist was sarcastic and laughing at me. I also found it extremely inappropriate when comments were made about me "ruining" my eyebrows after I said I wanted to cancel because I did not want to lose more money on another deposit. Instead of being treated with understanding, I felt mocked and disrespected. The owner, Mike Anderson, was also rude and accusatory in his responses to me. He accused me of using ChatGPT in my messages while his own responses appeared very Al-written and formal. I even ran an Al detector out of curiosity and it suggested his messages were Al-generated, which made the accusation feel hypocritical and unnecessary. At no point did I feel like they genuinely wanted to resolve the situation fairly or calmly. I understand businesses have policies, but customer service and basic respect still matter. I tried explaining honestly what happened and provided proof about the spam message, yet I was treated as though I was lying. Overall, the communication, professionalism, and customer service I experienced were very poor, and l left feeling upset, dismissed, and unfairly treated. Update: from your response you did not mention that in fact, I did not CONFIRM the appointment via text message. So again, if I did not confirm, why did the clinic not bother to call me as the previous sessions. And if I don't attend and I didn't confirm the appointment, what's the actual point of the confirmation messages. You aren't the only clinic that specialises in that specific laser. There's many who uses the exact same laser and have same experience. You also didn't go through my eyebrow hairs just Also he called me crazy and mentally unstable, which is unprofessional as well as warned me that I'm not allowed to post negative reviews or there will be a court order against me. That's the reason why negative reviews are removed. He also contacted me last week about making another appointment and placing another deposit. This is the 4th review as he deleted my original post. Update: no I didn't ask for an appointment. The screenshot literally proves that the clinic contacted me first after the deposit conflict. Also no, I never harassed any girls in the clinic. I also found another clinic with the exact same laser as think again, and the technician already removed all my yellow brows.

Loveddd my treatments! Staff are super friendly & seem to be really experienced in the treatments…read morethey're giving. I've had both laser hair removal and acne treatments which have both worked successfully. Highly recommend!

Do NOT go here. I went to City Laser Clinic for 11 sessions of tattoo removal treatment and I…read morereally wish I had shopped around before going there. They are really overpriced and don't provide a good service. They don't offer EMLA cream in the treatments - you have to go out and buy it yourself from a chemist if you want it. For a clinic that charges twice what other places do, you would think they would include it in the price, but they don't because they are rubbish. Same with dressings - they might sticky tape cotton pads to your skin after your treatment (but don't count on it - at times I had to specifically ask for something to cover my skin which was bleeding). If you want proper dressings and medical tape you will need to purchase them yourself from a chemist. They also do not cleanse the area before treating it. You are expected to clean your own skin with the products in the treatment room, or request a practitioner assist you. I now go to True Skin Laser Clinic on Liverpool St. They use the exact same Q-switch laser, and the staff are a lot more qualified (they are nurses). Their treatments are better and the cost is less than 50% of what City Laser clinic will charge you (and True Skin includes numbing cream, cleansing, post-treatment balm and proper dressings.) Oh - and if you try to pay with a card (not cash) City Laser Clinic will charge you a 3% surcharge. Just the cherry on top.
