His little shop is just across from the ticket window inside Milsons Point Station and has been there for over 50 years (there are newspaper articles on him, he's part of the furniture). He's a good, kindhearted man who started off from nothing and he does a hell of a job on your shoes, he really knows his leather. I've got some boots in with him for resoling at the moment, when I dropped them off there were a pair of girl's boots on the counter and I could see him stroking the old leather appreciatively with his thick, dubbin-stained fingers.
