As good as it gets for *Australian Baseball*
I'm spoiled. I've seem MLB teams battle it out at both Yankees Stadium and Citi field in New York City. Blue Sox games atmosphere-wise are definitely more on a college baseball level if not high school, but it's all good for the love of baseball. I 'll take what i can get now I must cheer locally (besides my dear Mets).
Don't be fooled by the crowds (or lack of thereof) and the ball park, this is quality baseball. ABL teams. including the Blue Sox, frequently import MLB baseball players to play on the team. While paying next to nothing to get awesome views of the home plate, you can see them really shine on the field. Blue Sox players also get poached to play in the MLB, so although atmosphere might be a bit amateurish, the level of baseball isn't.
Now, get a jumbo screen up so I can really feel like I am at a league game. And for god's sake get rid of the cheerleaders - does not work for a baseball game because there's not sideline where they can cheer. read more
