While in Houston we were looking for a good coffee place. I don't to Starbucks unless I am in a bind. My husband came across this cute little place around the area of our hotel in Pasadena. It's situated in a neighborhood and it looks like a regular house . It has plenty of parking and nice little tables to sit outside and plenty of seating inside. My husband ordered a vanilla latte and I went with what the barista suggested, it was a brown sugar drink and it was delicious!!!! Just what I needed. They also have lots of delicious pastries we ordered the coffee cake and it was so good. It was such a great little gem to find. If I am ever in that area I hope o can visit it again.

We love this little coffee shop! It's a fun change from the other more fast paced places. Every pastry we have tried has been delicious but the lemon poppyseed is a must. The drinks are always made with care and amazing. They do have a drive through but we always like to go inside for a bit. They offer outdoor seating which is perfect for a beautiful sunny day. Definitely get there early because their parking is limited and it always fills up quickly! The coffee and muffin were both mother-in-law approved so you know it's good! I'm taking my sticky note for the goal board next time!

We were really impressed by this coffee shop. My lavender honey latte was delicious! The tacos were tasty and the pastries were fresh and made with care. It is definitely worth the drive if you live outside of Pasadena.

Dropped by after enjoying brunch at Pine Street Cafe at Silver Sycamore because I wanted the full experience. LOVED this little cozy coffee shop and I'm jealous of the residents that live right across the street because how cool is that? You can walk over any time and enjoy the space, the hot coffee and walk right back over. The life. I order the Cinnamon Almond Delight hot and it was perfect for me. I don't like my coffee too sweet and it had the perfect amount of sweetness. Too good! My man ordered the special drink they were promoting: the Brown Sugar and Cinnamon Oatmilk Latte iced and he loved it as well. He enjoys his coffee sweeter so he requested 2 extra pumps of the good stuff to have it to his liking. The shop itself was packed, people with their laptops enjoying their hot brew. Typical coffee shop things, but the part that stood out the most was the sticky note wall designated for customers dreams and goals they'd like to achieve. What a great idea to bring the community together, loved that. Look forward to trying more items on the menu and maybe enjoying one of the books they have stacked on the fireplace. Must visit this neighborhood gem!

Super cute little coffee shop but the customer service and coffee/flavor quality are lacking. I splurged on a coffee flight, latte and a pastry. Density of the donut was yuck. It'd been different if it was a "protein" or "Keto" one-then I'd understand to expect that. The staff wasn't very knowledgeable. I watched them both mess up orders (but w/e we are all human). They were t very personable. Kinda clueless rather and not the barista service I'd expect. I showed them several pictures of items from yelp and neither could make them. Kinda disappointed, and even though they're the same owner, if I was in this area again, I'd just go across the street.

Great little place with good coffee. They offer coffee in mugs which is a plus for me. It is small with a couple of tables inside but there is also an outside seating area if the weather nice. Service was good and they were friendly. Not really loungy but good place to set up a laptop or have a bible study.

Great vibes, great coffee, and great food! This is a cute little spot to bring a computer or have a coffee chat! There are not too many table if it is busy though. The coffee tastes great! I love the roaster that they use, Amaya Coffee. They even have a few house blends! I wish they had more wall plugs, but other than that- the perfect spot!

They told me not to touch the pastries.... The signs were NOT helpful

They didn't have any savory breakfast without pork. Food is good they just don't have a lot of variety. Pastries were tasty and affordable BUT you can't look at them up close. They have signs that said "do not touch" but they weren't in the best spots so it let to an awkward encounter. Overall it's a cute spot with good coffee and pastries but because of the food limitations not everyone is able to enjoy a meal here.

Folks if you live in the area and /or are coffee lover by now you should have stumbled on this little gem. Truly. It's location is a bit off the beaten path but it's charm will keep you coming back. Finally a good coffee place in the area. Now I don't have to drive to midtown or Montrose for a real coffee. They do it right. I usually get the traditional macchiato (not the fake crap Luke at Starbucks) or a cortado. Always very pleased read more

They have vegan baked goods, y'all! Pros: Cute place with drive-thru that offers a wide menu with reasonable prices. One of very few locally-owned coffee shops in South Houston. Fast wifi, friendly staff. Cons: milk is sometimes burnt or improperly foamed, espresso is just okay. Tea is expensive and a very small size. In spite of that, I do recommend this place as a study/work spot, or just a place to grab a quick coffee. read more

I'm native to the area, and it was only when I came back for the holidays that I've come by this place. It's gorgeous, quiet, and super affordable. Wonderful food - I highly recommend the pumpkin cake with icing, made in tres leches style, or the breakfast tacos. They're delicious. I'm not a coffee drinker, so I can't vouch for the coffee quality, but my friend and I often meet here and she orders a coffee. I'm a tea person, and I can tell you they have a great mix of herbal and caffeinated teas - peppermint, several black-tea based options, and two green ones. They also sell mugs, bagged coffee, and artwork. This place is one of my favorites. read more

Stopped by for an iced coffee. They did a good job with it and they offer soy or almond milk for us lactose intolerant people. The prices are fair and they have a nice assortment of pastries. The place has nice spaces for work, study, or chilling out. I'll definitely be back. read more

I liked coming here. The place is small but it makes you feel right at home. It's well decorated with simple things that make the place, in its entirety, look nice. The Caramel Latte I had was delicious. The ground beef and cheese breakfast taco was even better. If you come here please be sure to get a breakfast taco. You won't regret it. There's tables inside and outside and plenty of parking spaces for vehicles. read more

Please forego Starbucks and come here. Very good quality coffee and excellent service. The shop is spacious, with plenty of quiet indoor and outdoor seating. There is also a drive through window and a respectable number of parking spaces. They have a good selection of non-dairy milks too. A criticism is that they need better to-go cup. They have these styrofoam ones that are like something you would get at a gas station. They don't hold heat, and are unpleasant to drink from. read more

This coffee shop is exactly what I've been looking for since I moved to the area! I had the honey letter, half-caste, and it was DELICIOUS. My husband and I split an almond bark that was do die for, and the whole place was cozy and cute. Try to get the small sofas first, because once people snag those, they hog them all day. read more

Such an awesome place. The breakfast tacos are amazing. The lattes are perfect. And they get me going for the day. The price is similar to Starbucks but I feel this is a better quality. I love this cozy little coffee stop. Its a house converted into a cafe. Very hidden, yet a gem none the less. Not very spacious, as seating was limited. Coffee was delish, and staff was very friendly. Very cozy again I must add. Felt like being at home away from home. No busy hustle and bustle like the mainstream coffee shops, and no loud awkward music. Major plus is the cleanliness of the location, as well as the clean bathrooms. Thats always a big plus! read more

My friend and I had seen this quaint tea room on a previous shopping spree, but it was closed at the time. We drove over 30 miles to return. The service was refreshingly friendly and pleasant. We tried a new tea: watermelon mint. It was different, but didn't really compliment our food choices. Next time, I'll get peach tea or a coffee. With the salad we had a choice of soup or strawberry bliss. My friend got the chicken salad and special bean soup. She said she really liked the salad. I chose the the pear walnut salad. It was extremely good. We both commented on how such a moderate size salad seemed to last forever. The strawberry bliss besides being wonderful, was just the right size and a perfect end to the meal. It was well worth the modest price. We will return. read more

Truly a hidden gem. One of the best small business coffee houses in this area. I never knew it was here, I was going for a run and discovered it. I ordered a cappuccino and a brownie. The severity here was great, and the cappuccino was ready good. It was bitter, but not too bitter. The perfect mix of sweetness. The atmosphere is great here too. It's nice and cozy, great for studying. It's nice and dimly lit in the day and really gives you a nice home feeling. It definitely gives off a small town vibe. Cute little place, would love to see them add pour-overs to their coffee bar as they only offer one brewed option and espresso. Cappuccinos are very nice and they do offer a variety of non-dairy options too. Would love to see a few gluten free or Paleo offerings, too. Love that they usually have fresh juices as well. read more

Great little pop up coffee shop with a drive through. I got the ice honey latte which was the perfect amount of sweetness. They have a great amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Great tucked away spot for studying for sure. They have pastries and a great selection of tea. Some breakfast items are also on the menu. I drove by this place all the time and always wish I had the time to go today I did. Since the day it was really nice we sat outside the food is really good we had the tacos and the gumbo which is something you can eat anytime of the day. The place seemed really quaint somewhere where you can go to study because it's quiet or just read a book. Too bad it closes early. read more

Love the atmosphere. Nice and quiet, very cozy inside with plenty of windows and natural light. I just moved to southeast Houston from Austin and was thrilled to find this undiscovered local coffee shop on a quiet neighborhood street. If this place were in Austin, it would be packed, but since it's in Pasadena, it's like my own personal little caffeine and internet cafe! read more

Avocado toast had a thin layer of brownish avocado spread on a bread that had been toasted on a waffle iron. Scrambled eggs, looked like they had been premade and broken into smallish pieces. That said my latte was very good and they offer a lot of drink options. Partner said plain coffee was good but not great. Not sure I would go back unless I was driving by because getting breakfast there did not satisfy. It was more like eating at a fast food place, which will keep you from being hungry, but not necessarily be the greatest experience. I hate to give this place such a low rating, considering I used to come here 4-5 times a week, but sadly I barely make an effort to go any more than once a month now. This is largely due to the new manager at the Pansy location. Angela has repeatably messed up or forgotten my order. She once even asked me how to make my drink, despite the fact that i ordered something (no frills, as it comes) straight off their menu board! This chick is honestly the reason I avoided the Spencer location when she was there, but now that she's moved to my favorite (and closer) location, I've stopped going to either shop almost all together. Sometimes I will risk it and poke my head in and if someone besides her is working, I will come in and order. But I thinks it's a bit ridiculous that I have to avoid an employee (a MANAGER, no less) in order for me to get a satisfactory drink. I'm really not trying to be rude with this review but if I'm going to pay that much money for a simple coffee or tea, then I'd like it to be made correctly. read more

I stopped by after work one day, and never again went to starbucks after coming here. They do an awesome job with their Iced Coffees, and Mochas. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is aweome. I do my work meetings here tuesday afternoons. Prices are better than Your local Starbucks as well. read more
