Carla was incredibly professional and responsive from the very start. She answered all my questions and provided detailed information right away, making the entire setup process smooth and stress-free. The tutoring sessions are held via Zoom, and Carla (or sometimes one of her team members) works one-on-one with your student, accommodating your child's schedule. What really stood out to me is how much care they put into understanding what your child needs. The approach is highly personalized, with a clear goal of setting students up for long-term success. It's also very clear that Carla is passionate about what she does--and based on both my experience and the many other glowing reviews, she's also truly excellent at it. I am so happy I found Swoon Learning! My son has been struggling with advance math due to his ADD and we needed to find him a tutor that could work with him and fill in the gaps in his knowledge. Carla met with me and my son via Zoom and we went over my son's situation and needs and created an outline how to help him. I need to mention that it was in December, right before finals and during pre-holiday madness. The very next day after connecting with Carla, we were able to get a free trial lesson with Daniel and he was absolutely fantastic!! Not only was he able to connect with with my shy son, but he was also able to go through a lot of material in a very clear and effective way! We proceeded with 3 additional lessons in the same week to get my son ready for finals, but my son will need continuous help until he catches up so now we are on a weekly schedule with Daniel and I already see more confidence in my son. I love Swoon tutoring because my son was having a very difficult time with Geometry which is understandable due to the fact he does not have a teacher. Overall we are happy. We have been using Swoon for 2-3 months. We have twins and they have been struggling w school. We could not just go w a simple tutor who will only teach a subject. I enrolled my son in a summer math enrichment class since he was getting a C- in math, and this year he is doing much better. Swoon Learning took the time to discuss the value of organization and creating a study regimen, which is something I love about them. They also use Trello, a project management tool that I use at work. They keep things organized and transparent about what my son is learning by using real-world applications.
