They were three…read moreyears dealing with a simple compensation claim from a former employer, during which time I never knew who was dealing with my claim, they were reluctant to put anything in writing and refused to divulge the name of the opposing solicitors. I became suspicious about their dealings and wrote to them twice( recorded delivery) regarding my concerns, but received no reply. They eventually phoned me ( 9 months after my letters), to report that the defendants had rejected my claim and that they were not able to pursue it further. This was 2 days before the deadline for any further legal action, making it impossible for me to instruct different solicitors! Dodgy to say the least!
