I've DoorDashed this place multiple times, and this was my first time dining in. I was surprised with the presentation of my bowl - beautiful! They added a complimentary slice of bread on top, and you can pick the dressing/sauce. There's also a water station available. My all time favorite is the harvest bowl; that combination of kale, chicken, and sweet potatoes just work really well together. If I'm carving for more protein and rice, I get the miso glazed salmon and hot honey chicken. The service is fast and efficient. The parking lot is shared with multiple businesses, so parking can be a little tight and require some walking. There's a designated pick-up spot for those that ordered to-go. Remember you came to this page looking for healthy food that tastes good. This is one of those places. I would say I come into this restaurant and I am a little confused on how to order, but the staff are friendly (they'd dont bite) and will help answer even the silliest questions. I really enjoyed my salad, my husbands turned out a little smaller then we expected, but he still enjoyed it greatly. The only food item I was not fond over was the hummus. This whole experience was very awkward, just awkward. We visited during lunchtime, probably within the first 40 minutes of opening. There were several people there, so the young ladies were already in the groove of work. When we walked in, we were not greeted and when looking at the menu, there was no thought to ask if we needed help with reviewing their menu or had any questions about the menu. The young lady just stood there and watched, literally, just stood there. There was a huge difference between the Ft. Worth location and this location. Customer service is, key! Stopped for an early lunch at Sweet Green. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was well kept. I tried the caramelized steak bowl, without tomato, and dressing on the side. The food was good. The only thing I didn't care much for was the dressing ... but that would be easy enough to switch out. I'm usually a bigger eater though. So it's good for someone like me it's a light lunch but wouldn't be the meal I would get for a solid filling meal to last me most of my day. Though for others I know it's actually just right for a healthy lunch. Warm bowls to cold salads, there can be endless combinations. I got their seasonal harvest peach salad bowl. Oh boy was potential there. My issue was the goat cheese was solid and not easily able to mix in and the seasonal peaches were crunchy like apples. I also got a warm chicken pesto bowl. This was pretty good! I preface this with I am NOT a salad person. And yet, here I am reviewing a salad place with the same excitement I would review my favorite Mexican food joint. See, I want to love salad. But the salads I make at home are always the same, lettuce, ranch, cheese, protein. Salad is the vessel for ranch. Salata, any other salad place, same thing. Lettuce, cheese, ranch, protein. So that's why this place is special to me, because it got me to step outside my box. Crispy rice, black lentils, simply prepared but very tasty couscous, blackened chicken, freshly sliced avocado, the options are so unlike other salad places, and they locally source as much as they can. You can't beat that. So in my pictures you can see some of what I got, but here's a list from my build your own bowl. Keep in mind, this is massive, it will be two meals so get stuff you want to eat twice. lol Mine was kale, romaine, arugula, red pepper flake broccoli (wow), black lentils, red onion, couscous (regular, not pearl), hummus, avocado, crispy rice, blackened chicken. I was tempted to fall back into my old habit and get a ranch (Green Goddess Ranch here), but I asked to try something new and he gave me a sample of Miso Sesame Ginger. Good night! Talk about mind blowing, I've never had anything like this dressing, and I could not have been more impressed. This has changed the game. What I experienced here is not even in the same ballpark as my "usual" salad and I LOOOVED it. As long as this place is around, I will never have to fall back to my boring salads, I might actually ENJOY eating salads. Walking in to Sweetgreen was really refreshing! Everything is brand new and clean, with light and bright tones it's very inviting. You're greeted by a wall of ingredients listed out and where they are sourced from! Their menu has many different options to pick from. I picked the Caramelized Garlic Steak which was very light on the stomach but very tasty. It had filling carbs like wild rice, sweet potatoes, and broccoli. Stumbled across this place last week - almost quite literally as I had no idea it was there! Anyways, I walked in not knowing what to expect and the most helpful and knowledgeable cashier saw my obvious confusion and helped me tremendously. He explained the menu, how to order, the app! and I was so grateful (Elijah you are a star!). (Please note!!!! Not that the system is that confusing - I was just having an off day mentally and it was a new place/company to me. With customizable options, fresh organic products, ample menu options .. sweetgreen provides a new twist to grabbing a salad. Being I was a first timer, the staff was excellent in helping me select a popular menu item in the Harvest Bowl. The bowl itself is unique given the contrast of warmth with brown rice, overlaying a bed of cold kale, topped with apple, pecans and chicken. I come to this location pretty frequently, like a few times a week, and have to say that I'm always extremely happy with the service, quality of food, and overall experience. Very clean, very nice! With that being said, I think a lot of the negative reviews that have been left for this location are super unfair. As I stated, I come here pretty regularly, and I've only had 2 instances where I needed to ask the staff to adjust something. And they did so happily. I think leaving a 1 star review because you weren't greeted immediately when you walked in the door the one and only time you came here is kinda ridiculous. Or to leave a bad review because the sweet potatoes aren't as big as you'd like them to be (I mean.... Come on.) It's also important to remember that sometimes people have off days and make mistakes. One worker in the front didn't bother to look our way. She checked out a customer and proceeded to working on what I'm assuming is to go orders. I've had sweetgreen multiple times, both in DFW and in other cities, and this location is definitely the worst. Noticeably so from other locations, which in other places i've never recognized a difference in quality in bowls. Ordered food with family to-go. One of the bowls ordered was the Elote bowl, which only had two additional premium ingredients added. And by our surprise the part of the bowl that makes it elote was missed. They did not add corn to the ELOTE bowl. Just a huge miss. Besides that the quality of the ingredients and execution was lower too. I ordered the harvest bowl, and the way the roasted sweet potatoes were done at this location was worse than others. The sweet potatoes were cut in thin 1/4 in slices, which in the bowl made them way too thin and less enjoyable to eat, compared to the usual cubes at every other location. Additionally the cook of the meat for all of the bowls was bad. The roasted chicken was on the dryer side, and for other bowls also as poorly done. Sweetgreen is usually a really good choice of meal, but i'm very disappointed in this location and i'm never ordering from this spot again. I would rather make the extra drive to North Dallas or Addison than here. Absolute bust. read more

Overall would recommend sweet green. However, they are on the pricey side when in search of a salad/bowl place. They are really catered towards quality fresh sourced ingredients so probably where that price point comes into play. My favorite is the harvest bowl and when I find something I like I don't steer from it too often so that's usually what I get! My husband has had the buffalo bowl and he really liked it. Sweetgreen is a restaurant chain that began in Washington DC, and is new to the Fort Worth area. Their mission is to "...build healthier communities by connecting people to real food". They serve large bowls of salad of fresh and tasty vegetables and meats, grain rice, some fruits, nuts, etc. You can order from one of their signature-type bowls, or create your own. I am a huge fan of their chili shrimp and cucumbers. The food is fresh - they work with their suppliers for carbon minimization. I'm not sure if they work with local suppliers only or if they fly in from other countries, but am still researching this. Hopefully it is local, especially since Sweetgreen has committed to becoming carbon neutral by the end of 2027. The staff is friendly and hospitable -- and (I was disappointed) they are not allowed to accept tips. The restaurant is decorated as minimalist, and they invest in clean energy and materials. "We optimize our building materials from construction to furniture, investing in clean energy, and industrial equipment to make a minimal impact. Our restaurants are designed to contribute to a more sustainable future by embodying our values in a tangible way while broadening access to real food across the country." They have sides of focaccia breads with oils and rosemary. And there are a few packaged desserts of chocolate or sweet rice. I must let you know, this restaurant is difficult to get to. The shopping center is off of Carroll, which is a great locale. However, the parking lot...good luck finding a parking spot. I drove around for awhile, then ended up walking quite a distance in the 107 degree heat. This is not good for customers, no matter what the outdoor temperature shows. read more

I was finally able to try out Sweetgreen in Southlake! Sweet green is in a newer shopping center near Southlake Town Center. Sort of an extension of the original town center across the street from what I consider the original area of the town center. Like others have said, it is tough to find a parking spot near sweetgreen, especially with so many other restaurants near by. Though I was able to easily find parking off to the left of the business in front of REI. Across the "parking lot street" of the side of the street Sweetgreen is located. Not a bad walk to get here! I ended up going Monday and it wasn't really busy. The store was very clean and staff friendly. I ended up ordering something one of the employees recommended, because what I had seen online when checking out the menu ended up being an online order only item. Based on the recommendation I tried the Crispy rice bowl which was really good. Next time I would likely go for a build your own bowl or salad! I also picked up a kombucha but ended up drinking some water when there. Most of the drinks end up being about $5 but they do have a serve yourself water station. They don't seem to have regular sodas as a heads up for those who drink sodas with their meal. For me this place makes for a nice lunch spot or healthy quick dinner spot if I happen to be in the area! read more

A few pieces had a funny aftertaste. I chose caesar dressing which was watered down. When I noticed I asked for the green goddess ranch dressing that was thick and creamy with a hint of lime. Well Sweetgreens has a new fan! I had known of Sweetgreens but hadn't actually gotten a chance to try them and yesterday I was wanting something healthy and decided to finally go for it. First off I appreciate that they're very upfront with the macros of all of their items, calories and protein specifically. They also have a list on the wall inside the restaurant with all the local farms their produce is sourced from. Seeing as it was my first time, I wanted to get more than one item to try. I got the miso salmon protein plate for dinner and got a crispy rice salad bowl for lunch today. I really enjoyed both. The salmon was a little overcooked but for a fast casual restaurant it was really tasty! Loved the miso dressing included with it. It tasted really similar to a poke bowl but instead of raw salmon the salmon was cooked. I would order this again. For lunch today I had the crispy rice salad bowl. The texture made this salad really satisfying, and the spicy cashew dressing (it's really not spicy) was yummy! They really packed the greens in there, so I took a few big bites of the arugula to make room to shake the dressing with it. Despite keeping it in the fridge all night it was tasty. Posted are all the local farms where many of their items are sourced - a very nice touch! The staff is very friendly, and the portion is a good size for a dinner salad. The topping choices aren't as numerous as some of their competitors, but everything is fresh and healthy tasting. I chose to had the Buffalo Chicken Salad, which had a considerable amount of Chicken and Bleu Cheese, although it all fell to the bottom after being mixed. The Greens for this Salad is all Kale, so that was different, but I didn't mind it. I was accompanied by friends that chose the Hot Honey Plate - which was full of flavor, and the Crispy Rice Bowl, which was good. Across the board, we were all disappointed in our drinks. The bottled and canned Teas and Sodas were both low in flavor and high in price. I hope they'll decide to add more drink selections! I've had healthy-ish drinks that still have some flavor. I also think the location might be a tough one. Plenty of traffic, but I'm not sure how many are looking for a salad. Most of the crowd come in for the neighboring restaurants. read more
