Oh my gosh this place was fantastic!!! I've been craving a bagel and this hit the spot. Certainly no NYC bagel but it definitely did the job. The French toast was delicious too!!! Perfect to split. Service and ambiance was great. I recommend sitting outside to people watch! read more

This is my go-to breakfast spot in Torino. The crew is fantastic, sweet and welcoming as well as professional. The ingredients are fresh and tasty and there is genuine maple syrup. The avocado toast is excellent as are the eggs Benedict. But above all are the pancakes. They are fluffy and just heavenly. I've never tried the sweets but they all look wonderful. Give Sweet Lab a try. Note: It may say they're closed in Mondays but they are apparently open everyday except Christmas! I almost didn't come on my last day in Italy. Just outside the city center of Aosta, this bakery/gastronomia, while small, has a good selection of freshly baked products at fair prices. Today I purchased two pieces of fresh baked bread, a cupcake, layered chocolate raspberry cream cake, an arancino (ball of rice stuffed with cheese, tomatoes, and peas and fried), bread stuffed with ham and tomatoes, and a small bag of dry pasta and spent 13 euros. The only thing I would skip next time is the cupcake. Everything else was exceptional. Also available were focaccia, pizza, breadsticks, ham, meat and potatoes, beer, and croissants. Recommended.
