Our group of 5 enjoyed mixing scents to make our own scents as a 2-wick candle. The candle jars were all very pretty and there was a variety of colors. You're also able to dye the color of your wax. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout the process. It's a fairly quick activity, but we enjoyed playing games as we waited for the candles to set. When I called to ask about classes, the owner was super friendly and told us they usually take bookings online at her website. I went on a 1-1 date with my sister. It was such a cute event! The owner greeted us as soon as we entered the door. She introduced herself and told us she'll be with us in the few minutes. Since it was our first time we arrived just as she was opening so she was still getting set up. Once she was ready, we were offered a glass of wine (since we were the only people there, the owner actually just gave us the whole bottle). She explained the process clearly, showed us the scents, wick, and containers that were available, poured the hot wax, added dried florals, etc. While waiting for the wax to harden, we had a mini photoshoot session by the floral wall. I booked a brunch candle making class for me and my six friends for my birthday. The actual class was okay, I felt like I got the value out of it and the scents they offered were nice, I just wish they offered more scents. However the atmosphere was unwelcoming, they didn't introduce themselves or seem very friendly during the class. When I entered the space they didn't ask me my name or say happy birthday. It felt like we were bothering them by being there. They also came around each table and instructed us on the process, but it would've been easier if they had faced the room and announced the instructions. In the beginning of the class I reached for a bottle of champagne to refill my glass before we began the candle making process and was told no more drinks until brunch, which is fine but I felt awkward. Plus it did say bottomless so I didn't know there would be certain times we couldn't drink. In addition the brunch itself wasn't good. The food was cold and I wish I would've just booked a regular candle class because it wasn't with the money. Ultimately I wouldn't recommend for $75. read more
