Cody, Zach, Todd and the crew couldn't have been more accommodating…read more By normal standards, our job was on the larger scale with every interior room (4500 sq. foot ranch with finished basement) and outside work (front porch entry, window trim and backyard 3 season room). The work was originally scheduled for late April but COVID, as with most everyday life, altered the plans. Teagan, the office manager, worked diligently with us to reschedule the job to a two week timeframe late June/July. For the interior, we selected 5 colors with the assistance of a design consultant included in the contract. Drywall patching and repair was included and Zach even swapped out the front door handles/hardware for us when painting the front door. Cody and Zach were personable, friendly, and listened to our vision of what we wanted to accomplish. Additional suggestions on decorative highlight work from Cody was just icing on the cake. We especially want to give a shout out to Todd, the crew foreman. Todd stayed late to review current day work completed and plans for the next day. He went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and make sure the job was progressing to our satisfaction. We would enthusiastically recommend HBP For anyone looking for painting work - big and small. If you are looking for a company small enough for a personable experience but large enough to do the job, HBP is the one.

Where are good companies nowadays…read more This company was unwilling to meet after hours whenever someone is out of work, which is fine understandable So I arrange to take the day off work when I had a doctors appointment so that the company could come out and provide a quote. Since I had an appointment, they said between 10 and 11 and I said 10 AM then called the office and spoke with a female office staff and told her that I had a doctors appointment so it would have to be 10 and she agreed this would not be an issue. Then when they did not show up at 10 o'clock, I called the office and spoke to the female office staff and she said she would try to call Cody. She called me back and let me know if she could not reach Cody by phone or text. Then at almost an hour late I tried calling again and they sent me this text Completely inconsiderate, considering someone took the whole day off work and they couldn't even notify you and just no-show when they clearly made an error which things happen but to just not show up is completely appalling Edit: yes unprofessional and unpleasant from the start from your end. Especially when your office staff is trying to reach you to communicate and find out an estimated time of arrival due to your customers having other appointments and you not responding to calls or text. So instead of making it right or communicating professionally, you just decide not to show up and waste someone's time when their time is valuable until I followed up. I did not get any response from you, which speaks a lot about you as a person and a business owner.

Scheduled to arrive at 7:00 A.M., Leroy arrived twenty minutes early to get started. From setting up for work in both areas, to finishing and cleaning up all the prep and protective covering he hung in the bathroom, Leroy completed his work carefully and efficiently. And go over the quotes very carefully. I didn't and on painting day found out what I was expecting was not what the painters had planned. They did work with me and got started. But then needed more money because they needed more paint. Shouldn't the professional know how much paint is required for the job? I spoke to another paint company who was shocked I was asked for more money after they were half way through the job. Do I have the option to say no? Not really, I need the job done. Also the communication between the scheduler and the painting team seems faulty, as I expressed clearly about fragrance allergies causing migraines yet no one seemed to care and arrived with cologne and scented clothing. So 5 star painting please fix that, a migraine is no joke. The photo attached is the "corrected" crown molding ... this wobbly line at the bottom is after I asked it to be redone and it's just getting worse because the guy added more caulk over the mess made before and immediately painted under it. Now I need to hire someone else.

We had issues from the start. We are still finding mud and dust everywhere. We had a lot of damage…read moredue to the carelessness of the staff. They used stilts to reach the ceiling and damaged the fridge, cost unknown at this time,and dishwasher (replacement price of door is $297. They would not rent an air scrubber and we had to rent it for $213.21. We had to buy supplies to wrap and cover all furniture which was $60 includes tape, plastic tarps, commercial plastic stretch wrap), cleaning supplies for us to clean after they left (no estimate yet, they left quite a mess not only the first round but the second round), ceiling fan blade repair from taping all blades together and result of tearing the tape off. The ceiling fan in one office was hung from the power wire instead of the included metal wire which resulted in the inner power box to break. The back rests on the large couch were used to drag the couch across the floor and bent the framing. We had to remove drywall mud from cloth furniture. They broke our Monticello Drawer Chest back panel after their scaffolding collapsed. Brandon said "I'm not going to waste material or man hours with 2 coats of skim coating" on the main floor. This is included in their bid, and we expected this to be completed. The addition to the final invoice was not approved. They quoted the entire job and then wanted to add to the cost to drape a stairwell. The problem is the person quoting the project did not relay the entire quote to the owner (husband and wife team) and in the end said the stairwell was not included in the original quote.
