This family owned business is run by two sisters and a brother. I met the charming Barbara Urbani today as they take turns working in their shop. Their eponymous line is by far the most interesting in the store. I especially loved their natural horn glasses and also the ones with black frames with wooden temples, very subtle yet interesting. They also carry many over-sized sculptural looking glasses for the more avant-garde dresser. Barabara designed a pair of reading glasses with a large ? on the temple which is getting a lot of attention in the design world right now, so I had to buy a pair!!! While wandering around Venice not long after, I came across this lovely little shop with stylish decor and the friendliest and coolest owner, Alessandro. The glasses that drew me in were a 90's style wire frame that I saw in the window and I was astounded to learn that they were less than 200 Euros. I was told that they were the owner's design and made in a small town in northern Italy. Alessandro took his time helping me make the right decision and didn't pressure me at all. He gave me a complimentary eye exam to confirm my prescription, upgraded my lenses for free and got the glasses back to me in a couple of days, just before I left town. It was such a fun shop with a great variety of styles for all kinds of budgets and Alessandro made it such a fun and memorable experience that I couldn't recommend this shop more.

We never felt any pressure to purchase anything but did in the end. We returned this year and both of us again returned for another pair. The owner steered me away from very expensive frames which were not as complimentary as other pairs. He was right. I am so happy with my sunglasses. The products in his boutique are of such good quality and not your typical everyday glass frame you can get anywhere. The service is exceptional and priced right. Holy cow!! This place is awesome! From stop watches to camping gear this store has it all. I walked…read morealmost every aisle in the store. On my way in I noticed bikes for all ages and backpacks of all kinds. There were tents set up and hiking gear in one section, and workout machines and clothing for all sizes in another. They had the cutest ballet clothes and they dedicated a small section to ballet shoes, bags, sweaters, and other ballet accessories. I really couldn't get over how large the store was or how organized it was. The fishing and now hunting section was amazing. We went in looking for soccer balls and a water polo ball and left with exactly what we needed. The one thing we were hoping to find that we didn't was a hacky sack ball. I tried asking in Italian to several different store personnel but no joy. They looked at me a little funny and then I pulled up a photo on my iPhone and they said they didn't have it. Either way we are thrilled with the find and will be back many times in the future. We also had a nice clerk walk us through the self checkout process in Italian!!
