Both times he said the roof was good. This past time June 2023 it was not. Scott worked with us, helped us through the process. This week, he had his crew out, and he was on the roof and around the perimeter himself. It's a pretty good sized project, but we got high quality, and very good work done. The roof looks excellent, and they did a very, very good job getting the perimeter looking better than when they came, and checking on my neighbors to make sure nothing fell over a fence. They readily did all those things at no extra cost. They were reasonably priced, used excellent quality material and did a fantastic job with the installation and clean-up (to date, I've only found two roofing nails on the ground). He came over and gave me a quote and was very friendly. I asked for some references of similar type jobs and there was one just a few blocks away that I walked to and checked out. The owner wasn't pleased that his information was shared without his permission, but otherwise he had good things to say about Allied. I wanted some assurances so he had the installer/manager guy Rick came over. Rick really sold me on the company. He knew what he was talking about and he explained how they were going to install the windows (something that Wonderful did not do.) It was a particularly difficult job which I was upfront with, but Rick had experience with it. Rick kept in touch with me and responded when he said he would. He let me know when the windows arrived and then we scheduled the work. I ended up getting them installed 3 weeks early (and on my birthday weekend too! Yay!) because they had an opening. Because of the complexity of the job it took 2 days, so the crew were out on a Sunday which they didn't complain about. They cleaned up after themselves, were very polite, and put up with my questions and additional requests. Really great job. The finished product is amazing. I live on a busy street and the new windows have seriously reduced the noise levels. I'm sure they'll help with the A/C bills in the summer but my main reason to upgrade was noise and they really deliver. My father recommended Allied to me initially (I really, really should have gone with them) and I'm definitely going to recommend them to my neighbors and friends. I'll recommend Wonderful Windows to people I dislike.

After the contract was signed, the necessary tasks conveniently increased in price with the salesman saying he forgot to add certain parts of the project and more materials were needed than he anticipated. Just a bunch of lies, excuses and overselling. The company actually subcontracts to other contractors, which I did not like. I thought all the workers would be working for Allied, so the work and communication could be seamless. Instead, it was chaotic and unorganized at times. The promised date the project would be fully completed by kept getting delayed and pushed back. The crews did clean up afterwards but not well. There were a lot of nails found all over my property. It was very stressful because I had to take off work an additional several weeks beyond the mutually determined project completion date. I also had to closely monitor to make sure the work was done well, which I had to point out many mistakes along the way. The company did not take any responsibility for increasing the prices along the way or for the big time delay in completing our home project. Their indifference shows that they only care about money and not about customer service and satisfaction.

He said he can start the roof repairs that day and come back for the indoor wall repairs on Monday. This was perfect since it was supposed to rain later that night and the next day. He was able to get workers there quickly, and they replaced faulty/missing external vents that allowed water to drain in my house leading to wall damage. He provided before and after pictures as well as a birds-eye view pictures of the roof which was nice to have. The repairs came with 2 year warranties. On Monday, he had a worker come by and begin repairing the drywall. They repaired the damaged wall, bought paint to match the wall, texturized it, sanded, and added two coats of paint, and dried everything all in the same day. As a plus, they let me keep the remaining paint. Some nice touches that were appreciative, they always wore shoe covers and never wore shoes inside. They were cognizant of cleaning up any mess that was created from the work being performed. Even going as far as cleaning the attic to clean up anything that dropped during the roof repairs. They also vacuumed through the entire path that they walked as they left. One final thing that was surprising, as Jose left, he noticed our gate didn't completely close. He let me know he could fix it, 5 minutes later, it works again. The attention to detail from Jose and his team were great.
