We visited this popular Thai restaurant after a recommendation.
It is located in the heart of Faversham, near the historic Market Hall. It has about a dozen tables. The menu is extensive and includes all the usual Thai favourites, plus some specials.
We chose the Duck Spring Rolls (£7.95) and Vegetable Tom Kha (£6.50) soup to start. Both were good, the soup especially, with a good range of vegetables.
For mains my partner stuck with the familiar Chicken Pad Thai (£10.95), beautifully served with carved vegetables and the ground peanuts on the side. I chose the Pad Priew Wan (£9.95) with vegetables and tofu, with Thai sticky rice (£4.95). I was looking for something a little more adventurous, but needed to check that the sources did not contain oyster or Fish. The waiter was extremely helpful and the result was I went for the sweet and sour sauce with vegetables and tofu.
We noticed that other diners were going for the set menus, which start around £25 per person. We did not want to eat that much food, but it did look very impressive.
Overall, we really enjoyed the meal, and service was good throughout. Including two beers and water, and service, the total bill came to £55. We thought this was very good value. We would happily return. read more
