They may have changed some things since the last reviews since they were adding additional features when we were here. Ambiance/Service: The ambiance is actually really cool with an outside seating and water fountains, etc. as well as a neat indoor with a fun glass flooring. The service was really good and on top of it. We did not feel it slow at all. Food/drinks: We were pleased with the food. We had a spice tuna roll, chicken soup, miso noodle soup, and gyoza and it was all very taste and fresh. The only thing i would say is that the soup was a little salty, but other than that, the sushi roll was fresh and the gyoza's were really good. The drinks were also good, nothing fancy. We haven't tried a lot of sushi restaurants in MXC, but the ones we have tried, this is our favorite so far.

Sou sauce is watering down, doesn't even make my food saltier. I had authentic Japanese food in Japan and fake Japanese food in USA but by far this is the worst. However the service is nice and polite. but Sorry, food is horrible.

I have been here several times and have never experienced bad service or bad food. It can get busy around dinner time. If you like to plan ahead, then it would be a good idea to make reservations. When I say "awesome sushi" I am comparing it to other sushi places in Mexico City. This does not compare to Seattle or LA four star sushi places.

We can say that SHU and Jin SAN are high end restaurants as opposed to Miyako's mall restaurant category however I can say miyako is the best of all without a doubt, yes the place is not pretty but for me food is what really matters, so if you want tepanyaki in Santa Fe Miyako is your best option (its sushi is also good). I made the mistake once of asking for the wayu steak, the meat was great but the chef cooked it the same as regular steak... so you be fine ordering the angus steak.

This was my second time here so I wasn't disappointed to come back after several years. The Suntory brand beer was Ok, but nothing excellent. On very few places I give 5 stars, so this place earned it.

The place is small and very popular, so come with a bit of patience. The setup is super efficient: when you arrive, you place your order at a machine and wait outside. Once a spot opens up, they invite you in, and your food arrives within minutes. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen and was in pure umami heaven. The noodles had the perfect consistency, and the broth was incredibly flavorful without being overpowering. I also tried the gyozas, which were more like mini fried empanadas...crispy, savory, and absolutely delicious. I'd definitely recommend this spot to any ramen lover.
