Delicious sushi drinks and service. Cheapest toilet paper in all of Raleigh. Come on management, have the best toilet paper not the cheapest!!!

I will not be coming back here. We came here for our anniversary wanting to try it out and it was not the greatest experience. I got a green tea which was probably the best part of the meal. The ginger dressing on the salad was homemade, but I think it was incredibly over priced for the portion. The miso soups were good, super small as well though. Our edamame was over cooked, had them remake it and it was still over cooked. Also a ridiculous small portion for $7. I got one of the spicy signature rolls and it wasn't even spicy, just tasted like straight wasabi. my gf got the berry mojito which tasted like straight granulated sugar, even after mixing. Weird complaint, the chopsticks were really heavy! i kept dropping them lol. our waiter was super nice and was quick to get us anything we needed. the food was just overpriced and below average.

The place was dressed up in Halloween decor. Cozy vibe with delicious food. I will definitely be back.

Philly Roll, Crunchy Roll, Rainbow Roll and Salmon Maki

Inasmuch as I want to give a higher rating for this restaurant, unfortunately, none of the food offerings here stand out. While all were tasty, well-prepared and delivered promptly, it didn't stand out as memorable. But we definitely will back soon especially when we visit Lafayette Village again. How do I grade the dishes? The rolls were all B+. My only gripe was the rice was not as well seasoned as I wanted it to be. Needs a little more tangy taste that you get when you prepare the sushi rice with the proper amount of rice vinegar. That was somewhat lacking. B. Other than that, the calamari was really good. The accompanying dipping sauce was also just as good. I'll give this an A- The service was an A. Courteous, friendly, attentive and responsive when needed. I liked the decor. It was rather quiet when we arrived. I guess we avoided the brunch crowd earlier in the morning and you can tell. The wait staff was definitely relishing the respite from the rush. The place looked airy and spacious. Do I recommend? Yes, I do.

Bam Bam Roll*Black Widow Roll* Violet Lychee Cocktail

Ciera with Offline - Service was thorough and drinks were good. Came in for lunch special and got two rolls of sushi for $22. I got the Bam Bam and the Black Widow without avocado. Both rolls were very delicious and filling. For my drink I had the Violet Lychee and it was sooo good and slightly sour. No overly sweetness which I despise.

What a lovely lunch of live music and sushi on a Fall Saturday afternoon! We were able to bring the dog for Pet-a-palooza, but wasn't sure what to expect. Our server provided us with a water bowl and extra cucumbers with our meal. I think it was the best day the dog has ever had!

Sesame chicken bento box
Markiesa B.

So this is my second time visiting and I had went because I had an offline order. For starters it was way too cold in there. The outside temperature was maybe 70 degrees. I got the sesame chicken bento box which came with fried rice, a vegetable egg roll and broccoli. The food was ok wish it was more sesame chicken though. The service could've been better as well ,took way too long from getting sat to getting my checked fix the second time. Not sure if I'll be back

Delicious fresh sushi in a beautiful restaurant with attentive and sweet staff. Ive been here before many times and this restaurant does not disappoint. The sushi was so fresh, just the right size pieces. The ratio to fish to rice was correct and it was just delicious. The side salad is plentiful with delicious dressing and a great mix of greens. I will certainly return.

Sushi BOAT for 3

I love Sushi One! My family has been going here for years and it is an absolute staple for us. I recently went with my parents. As an appetizer, we ordered the salt and pepper calamari which was breaded and cooked perfectly -- it had a surprising but delicious sweet & salty seasoning on it. The seaweed salad is a must-order. For our main course we ordered the sushi boat for 3 and it was incredible! The perfect amount of food for the three of us. For dessert we got a mochi and cheesecake sampler which came with a green tea mochi ball and a mango mochi ball, as well as 3 small assorted cheesecakes. The desserts were very light sweet treat following the sushi. It was a good quantity for $9. The dirty gin martinis are delicious! The staff is always very friendly! We sat outside on the patio that was decorated with new umbrellas, fashionable tables and chairs, and cute lamps for every table. We went on a Thursday and got 50% off all wine glasses and bottles! I love their patio in the evening!

The sushi and sake were top notch! The service was great! The speed of food delivery was on the slow side. For a full review and photos: www.foodbloggernc.com

Second time here and food was excellent and nicely served Our waitress took time as I asked recommendations and what she recommended was great. Soft shell crab fries with spicy sauce Ambiance can be romantic as well as pleasure and even a business lunch or dinner. The decor was very soothing Definite check out. We arrived around 3:15 pm on a Wednesday I will Go back.

Completely overpriced. The sushi is good, even above average quality, but I've just as good of sushi for half the price.

The location is cleverly tucked around the corner from the Hibernian Irish Pub, with subtle arrow signs guiding you there -- discreet enough that you'd never stumble upon it without doing your homework first. Inside, the ambiance delivers: cozy, warmly lit, with seating for various group sizes and a handsome L-shaped bar anchoring the space. It was a Saturday evening and relatively quiet when we arrived, so we expected attentive service. Unfortunately, it never came. We sat at a two-person table just off the bar with a direct sightline to the staff -- plenty of whom were engaged in extended personal conversation with one another. Our first round was a highlight: a well-made Old Fashioned and a solid Dirty Martini. Pricey for the area, but not unreasonable given the setting. It was downhill from there. After finishing our drinks, we had to flag down our server for a second round -- despite the fact they were standing six feet in front of us. After that second round, we'd seen enough. Getting the check proved equally frustrating; multiple attempts at eye contact with the staff went nowhere, and we ultimately had to walk up to the bar to close out our tab ourselves. The bones are all here for something special. The Dry Cleaners just needs to match its atmosphere with the service to back it up.

They don't serve food, so it's a good place to come after dinner. The ambiance is simple, a wooden bar and now that they have expanded, they have some tables as well. For those that follow me on Yelp for brewery reviews, cocktail bar reviews are few and far between. So if I make a point of making a visit, it really is special. Great selection of product (I guess) but what I appreciate is the care and attention each glass is prepared by the bar keep. They are very friendly and knowledgeable - which is good for me, b/c I ask a lot of questions! Service is careful, but does crawl if the house is full, it really is tiny inside - did you know there was a back door, patio area? I particularly like the absence of having to yell at my table mates - it makes this barbour more sophisticated in this respect.Everything, right down to the outside marquee is subtle - and we like leaving the madding crowd far away...

The bartender with the blue hair was outstanding. (Did her job so well I cannot remember her name for the life of me). She explained how everything worked, pointed us toward great beer options in the back cooler, and then really impressed us by taking time to understand both my taste and my friend's despite us having totally different bourbon preferences. She gave thoughtful recommendations at multiple price points and tailored each suggestion specifically to what we liked. Knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely fun to talk to. My fries were served hot but needed some salt. I asked for my burger to be cooked well done but I was brought a burnt burger. I took one bite but it was too overcooked. I then requested that my server have my burger be cooked medium well so I didn't get another burnt burger. When my burger was brought back out, our server had me cut into my burger to make sure it was to my liking. The preparation was better but it was bland and tasted like there wasn't any seasoning on it. After this our server wasn't as attentive anymore. For dessert we got the donuts. They were served warm and I enjoyed them with the cherry sauce. I did not like the chocolate sauce that was served with the donuts.
