I've been getting served a lot of Bulgogi like this lately around town..and it has somewhat turned me off to Bulgogi in general. I personally prefer a much better cooked Bulgogi, with less fat. I enjoyed the Japchae, as well as the fried sides, but frankly, all the foods were all lacking in full Korean flavor. Some of the sides in the bento just seemed off...like these lackluster Avocado Sushi Rolls and a generic Salad (??). I felt that for the 32-dollar pricing, the sides should have been much better. This bento also came with Egg Drop Soup...but again, too bland. Guess I should have poured some soy sauce. As usual, the service was really good though. They even added this complimentary post-meal drink...this might have been the best part of my entire meal? I still think this is a really nice restaurant, with a lot to offer. I just didn't like how it got rid of many of its stellar Japanese menu items. Also, unfortunately, I just didn't like what I ordered. Again, the Bulgogi was too mild and too fatty...and all the foods in the Bento tasted a bit too bland. If I was to return, I would definitely not repeat the Bulgogi Bento.
