I have been going to Dr Waters since I was 13 years old! She has always been an amazing physician…read moreand I cannot imagine going to anyone else. Touro isn't my favorite location; it's a little far from my house. However, that is how much I want to keep Dr Waters as my physician. I would even go to the West Bank if that's where she moved her practice!

I recently relocated to New Orleans from the West Coast, where I had a great Ob-Gyn for many years…read more I had undergone surgery before I moved, and so needed to find an Ob/Gyn in New Orleans to take over my post-op care. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to find another great doctor. Was I wrong! Dr. Waters and her staff are wonderful and I *highly* recommend this office! At first I was worried, because when I called Dr. Waters' office to book my new patient appointment, they sounded very busy and my appointment was set for FOUR months out(!). Fortunately, I was able to wait. When I arrived at the office, I "only" had to wait about 10 or 15 minutes past my appointment time, which seems to be the going rate. "Birdy" called me in to take my vitals. She was extremely nice and cheerful, and put me at ease while she did a quick history. I did not have to wait very long in the room for Dr. Waters to come in -- I waited no more than about 10 minutes. I liked her as SOON as she walked in the door! She just had a great bedside manner, and radiated a professional but comforting sense about her. I had had my out-of-state medical records sent to Dr. Waters in advance, and she had them all with her when she walked in. She said she had reviewed all the records, but she wanted to go over them with me, so she could confirm that the two accounts match. The exam went well and afterward she gave me a list of local doctors she recommends for me to establish my primary care. The check-out procedure was very quick and friendly. After I left her office, I realized that I had forgotten to ask her about one medical issue. I called the office right away and left a message for her. Within a couple of hours, Michelle, Dr. Water's nurse called me back. She said she had discussed the issue with Dr. Waters and they could refer me for some lab work right away. Michelle was *very* helpful and pleasant on the phone. I was also able to get the tests done the next day, at another facility. Michelle called me the morning after my lab tests, and she went over all the results with me (plus the results of my exam, which had only been 2 days earlier). I cannot express HOW happy I am to have found Dr. Waters, Michelle, and Birdy! Their office is wonderful, and I'm glad I have them to track not only my post-op care, but my primary Ob/Gyn care, too. A friend told me that Dr. Waters shares an office with Rebecca Perret, who is also a wonderful Ob/Gyn.

Well, let me start off by first saying Dr. K. Clavin started off with an attitude from get-go. Then…read moreshe told me that I needed vitamin B which according to my bloodwork is perfectly fine. I paid her $365.00 for hormone replacement pellets which didn't work. She shot my testosterone level through the roof. I called her after a week of being seen and let her nurse know that I was still having hot flashes, so they proceeded to tell me that I needed to wait 2 months before getting bloodwork again. Well as anyone knows that has had HRT it doesn't take 2 months to know whether they have worked or not to get a booster. After calling her multiple times she told me to just go ahead and get my bloodwork done again. My first bloodwork my testosterone levels were 26.3 Units: ng/dL. My bloodwork after her giving me HRT my testosterone levels were 301.5 Units: ng/dL. I called her back and her nurse told me that I needed to make another appointment and she wasn't going to give me a booster. So she wanted me to make another appointment for 365.00. If this isn't malpractice then I don't know what is. This lady needs to have her license revoked and shouldn't be practicing medicine. I would hate to see how she would treat a pregnant woman who was getting ready to give birth. I'm guessing she would tell her to come back in two months!!! She really should make this right, but she isn't . So I would call her a thief. I would give her a 0 but it's not an option. Oh and let me just say one more thing. I have been getting HRT for over 4 years from my primary care physician, but unfortunately she no longer practices

Absolutely LOVE midwife Tiffany Williams. I switched to…read morethis office after my last OB office mistreated us following a miscarriage. Tiffany was incredibly sweet and supportive through my entire pregnancy with my rainbow baby. She answered all my questions without invalidating my concerns. I would text her any time of day/ night and she would get back to me asap. My partner and I left every appointment laughing and confident in our baby's health. She walked me through my birth plan and pointed us in the right direction without overstepping our wishes. I gave birth to my son 2 months ago and I don't know if I could have done it without her! She took control and advocated for us while she literally held me together lol (I birthed a giant, healthy baby with only a 2nd degree tear)! When it came time to talk postpartum birth control she helped me find a non-hormonal option without any of the judgement. Every momma-to-be deserves a Tiffany in their lives !

They did not seem concerned at all about my problem but what insurance I had. when stated Humana Choice ppo, said they are not accepting any new Medicare plan patients. (tho site did say accepting new patients). They did not offer referrals or any solutions just not accepting. In contrast, I looked up a gyn/oncology in Healthgrade with high rating at Lakeview. They informed me compassionately she only handles after a cancer diagnosis, that I would have to see a regular gyn first, who would refer to after such a diagnosis. she then referred me to a gyn to call. No asking about ins. first. Additionally, I called another primary recommended by my dermatologist since gyn booked til April, and they were extremely helpful and made an appointmen. This whole experience, in my opinion, tells me money, profit more impt. to Dr. Williams than patients. I get that Medicare plans may not be as profitable as private plans, but there are millions of us out here needing quality healthcare and compassionate drs. too.
