I was just there to look at furniture. She kept pressing us about who we voted for saying she didn't want Trump supporters as customers. Stacie and Jessica from Paxton Place transformed our outdated and kid-worn living room into a…read morewow-worthy gathering space that everyone wants to linger in. The difference is genuinely jaw dropping. Our project was a complete redesign including the replacement of an exterior wall with an expansive glass door, upgraded lighting, new furniture, draperies and blinds, and design support for our adjacent outdoor living space . Our living room has been transformed into a peaceful refuge, with a timeless, but truly unique feel. These ladies were professional, knowledgeable, creative, and just plain fun to work with. They brought reason and sanity to a large-scale project that could have been chaos; the whole effort was well organized, carefully planed and beautifully executed every step of the way. We can't wait to work with them again on future design projects.

Ray, the head of the company, is extremely knowledgeable and very kind. They have an interior designer, Nohemi, that has a great eye, and we loved her design portfolio. Our budget and time frame ended up being a little tighter than we had originally hoped due to some required foundation and electrical work, so we had to scale back our project and go with a smaller business. However, we are hoping when we do our next project, which will be the kitchen, that Ray and Nohemi will be available. Would love to work with them beyond just the design phase.

YES, their were Construction delays and hiccups along they way. It's called Construction for a reason. But what we love about HDP is they stand behind their work and they are as honest and trustworthy as you get. Just incredible people. It is 2025 and we again have a few projects we want to do and some things we want updated. Ray was able to reach out to the subcontractor who worked with us during our 2016 remodel to make changes to our home security system and cameras. Seriously, almost 10 years later. We had a custom built steel gate installed in 2016. Ray still knew who built it and knew what would be involved at adding a new coat of paint. Ray also helped with moving us over to one system like Ring, Nest,or Wyze. Instead of a hodge podge of various products. This has been huge. During that process he reminded us that the new code requires 3 smoke/fire/carbon detectors. We have referred several friends to HDP and allowed individuals to tour our home and inspect his work. Because we continue to be that impressed. Last week we again gave him a long list of normal wear and tear items to more extensive projects and he submitted his review timely and accurately along with a couple suggestions. We look forward to beginning the next list of projects.

From creating a mood board, to selecting the most comfortable furnishing, to working with me to find alternative options during our design meetings, the experience was truly enjoyable. On the sale side working with Evan, I loved the quick communication over text and the detailed invoices to review. He was always available for my questions or change updates. My only issue was there was no actual signed contract for our big project. This made my husband and I uneasy at times, but Living Modern has an amazing showroom that is not going anywhere anytime soon. You can put your trust in Evan and you can't do any better than Norma's design experience. I would absolutely recommend giving them your business. You will be in good hands!
