Terrible. Worst doctor I have ever visited. The office staff was nice, but I will never go back to her.

Horrible bedside manner and very long waits with no sincere apology. She was the most unfriendly doctor I have ever been to.

Front desk and scheduling staff are always pleasant and helpful. After a decade and a half in west ATX, I finallllly found a fabulous internist (who serves as my PCP; Dr. SC) at ARC-FP. Yay! Very patient, thorough, takes his time, kind, compassionate...fantastic "bed side manner" and care. Everything you want in a doctor...but, sadly not without some...mmm...negatives. I guess a lot of other people also like Dr. C as much because he's always booked out far. Three plus months in advance to even schedule an annual exam. Eee. And expect to wait a while to be seen after your appointment time (they have comp Wifi; signal can be poor inside building). I think feeling like I'm in great hands is worth a little sacrifice, especially after such a long journey to find somebody I really, really like. Luckily, I found another PCP at a different ARC location (Bee Cave; see review) who usually has same week appointments available when I need to see someone faster (e.g., order labs, GI flareup, respitory infection, etc.). I also found my wonderful rheumatologist at ARC-FP. Dr. K hits all the marks as well. Very kind and so knowledgeable. He quickly Dx a longtime issue I had been suffering with, and continues to assist me on my journey to gain mobility and PRAY someday be pain free. I really appreciate everybody at Austin Regional Clinic Four Points. They are always very busy so some patience is required; however, they still manage to make me feel important and truly cared about. I'll take is as a W. :D

He's extremely kind, patient, and overall an excellent doctor. I enjoy having him as my PCP. I just wish I didn't have to schedule so far out for an appointment. It's a blessing and a curse, because he's so popular! Mariana Racovita- I recently had an acute visit with Mariana and she was wonderful. Kind, courteous and more importantly thorough. I'd love to continue seeing her as well. The other staff (medical assistants and front desk) have been good for the most part. I've had some off experiences but are willing to look past due to the overall quality care received from Thrive. Shout out to the lab techs though, because they are always wonderful! Thank you!

I was pleasently surprised - it almost made me want to get sick every day! (well you know what I mean *laughing*) From the moment I walked in and confused myself checking in on a tablet (I am a global engineer for super computing - my microwave still blinks 12:00 - go figure) to the gentleman doing my vitals, to Makayla who is smiling and good fun to talk about my admittedly beaten body I call home. I clearly made the right choice with Makayla and the Staff of Thrive in N Austin, and recommend them highly. Thanks Guys! NORTH AUSTIN- THRIVE MEDICAL CLINIC 2217 Park Bend Drive Suite 210

I came to get my medications renewed and my pharmacy sent them to be ordered from the office. When I returned to the pharmacy they said they never got a reply. I would call the Dr.s office and it would go to voicemail and I would never hear back. I called quite a few times. I figured they closed or moved. I felt very betrayed at the time. I had to see someone else and then they moved. I recently went on Yelp to find a new doctor and saw that Dr. Chikkala was still at the same place!?? WT? I left another message, again, no response! I drove over there today and only the nurse was there. I told her about all this and said she would have someone get back to me. So Dr. Chikkala's husband (who runs the front) Just now called me. He was very rude to me. He said that because it had been almost 2 years that she was no longer my doctor, (well of course she wasn't). I wanted to go back to see her. He wanted to go round and round about when he "said" he called me back a long time ago and it was ME that never responded. LOL really? I DID call, MANY MANY Times! No one ever got back to me. Very irresponsible for a doctor's office. So, I said I would like to get in to see her. Then he tells me that I have to find another doctor because she won't have any information from the last 2 years?? Well, they can get that information from the last group I was at. He proceeded to then just make up stuff and it got ridiculous. He made no sense, I realized he was just being an ass. I really do not wish to deal with people like that so I will find a new, better, more communicative, and responsive doctor's office.

You set an appointment online or via their mobile app, finish all the paperwork online before you arrive, and then check in at the front desk the day of. The first time I went, I met with a doctor who was pushing to prescribe medication that I thought I didn't need. I'm not anti-meds, but I don't want to put unnecessary drugs into my body. I prefer a more natural approach, but OTC is okay, too. The second time I went, I learned that the doctor left unexpectedly, and I was assigned an RN. The RN is cool, but I am also pushed to prescribe random stuff to address whatever symptoms I have. Each time I've met with her, I've had to ask for non-prescription alternatives, which she would then tell me what she recommended. I wish she would start first with the non-prescriptions, then work her way to the prescription meds if the non-prescriptions don't work. I've never had a problem with billing, and I've had lab work done at this location, too. The nurse who draws blood is very good, and I felt no pain during that process. Don't expect a world-class service at this clinic, but it does get the job done if you need to see an RN. They can also provide a doctor's note if you need it for your work.

No matter how many times I had health insurance changes, I always made sure I would be able to see Dr. Kravitz. I've had other doctors in other cities, but no one came close to Dr. Kravitz's knowledge (26+ years of practice), professional demeanor, and personability. He is knowledgeable on so many topics, and I know I'm able to ask him anything. And you know what? He listens. It's that simple. He sets your chart down, he looks at you, and he listens. Some doctors are just so harried they don't take the time to really let you explain what's happening or how you feel. It really does make the difference. We forget how important it is for a doctor to relate to his patients. I've seen doctors who have been cold, indifferent, uninterested in anything except performing an examination or treating whatever was wrong at the time. Sure, that's fine, but it's the bare minimum; it doesn't set me at ease. When I'm sick, and I'm concerned, Dr. Kravitz demonstrates a level of empathy I've yet to see in another doctor. It also helps he has a sense of humor! Even if he does not accept my insurance, I would only want to have him as my primary care physician. He's known me for years, and knows my medical history better than anyone. I hope to stick with him as long as I can. If you are looking for a new doctor in the area, you will NOT be disappointed. Dr. Kravitz is the real deal, and one of the few people I still trust in the healthcare field. A real winner!
