The staff's calmness, humor and patience really helped. It was a nice touch to receive a follow up call the next day to see how I was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. Multiple doctors are housed here, including folks for weight loss surgery, vascular surgeons, and many more specialists. Parking is decent but sometimes it can be hard to find a spot. Valet parking is $4 or free if you have a handicapped sign in your car. There are wheelchairs right inside the entrance that a valet can bring you, or you can bring your own. Upon entering, check in by the first floor entrance. Then they will send you to your actual appt and you'll check in again.

I returned promptly at 11:28AM to sign paperwork, only to be told our appointment was canceled for being "past time."...This was unacceptable Honestly, The original delay was from their office, not us, and I was still on-site, ready to continue care. My frustration is that not enough time had even passed to justify canceling the appointment! It truly felt like I was being given a hard time because was lunch, rather than being treated with understanding or fairness. The ugly lead receptionist also refused to let me sign the paperwork when I returned, which would've prevented this entire issue! Instead, I was treated as if I had abandoned the appointment when I was simply tending to my family during your staff's delay. When I tried to explain, I was met with cold, dismissive behavior and repeated scripted responses about policy And procedure. This lack of empathy caused me to experience a panic attack since I would have to figure out new Transportation and daycare again! No parent should be treated that way for standing up for themselves and just trying to get into their scheduled appointment. Especially when the office was originally at fault for being late, it was always for me to get off work early and my son missed school so it was very annoying. Additionally, after my complaint, I reviewed my billing statements and discovered serious inconsistencies. The first statement from your office showed a balance of over $1000! appearing as though my insurance was not properly billed and that I owed over $7590 out of pocket. After I questioned it, a new statement was issued showing a corrected balance of $195.50 with updated contractual adjustments. This raises significant concern that incorrect billing or incomplete insurance submissions may be occurring. If I had not caught the error myself, I would have overpaid by hundreds of dollars. I requested that a formal billing audit be performed for my account to ensure all claims were properly processed and reported to insurance. very unprofessional. They are clearly not FQHC! From the staff at Hickman Cancer Center to all the doctors, nurses, and aids on the floors, I've had nothing but the best care in all ways. The nurse/patient ratio is excellent, the food is far better than one would expect at a hospital and I truly appreciate the follow-up calls from various staff members calling to see how I'm doing. They're excellent at explaining beforehand what to expect during a procedure, as well as during one. I appreciate every one of them.

i was taken to flower hospita for a-fib when i told 911, i said i didnt want to go. i was ok in…read moretheir truck, they said we are going we are already headed out. but they didnt move until after i said that. at flower hospital they ran tests and then sent me home. the test they did said i had low thyroid which i didnt find out until i checked in mychart. and was told to check with my doctor. so after seeing the test i sent a copy to my doctor and she put me on medication for low thyroi. it made me really sick andi was on it three days. i told her i dudnt have any symptoms of low thyroid and she had me do another blood test at toledo clinic. it was normal. now flower hospital isnt taking any responsibility for their mistake. so i'm not paying the co-pay. that hospital is a joke!

I am always impressed by how personable and caring they are. Lab services, pharmacy and radiology(c-ray, CT, MRI) are right in the premises. There is also an outpatient surgery facility. They also post the prices of those departments and the prices are LOWER than having the same thing done at local hospitals. There are 3 buildings at Secor Road location, connected by hallways. The buildings are not new but they are maintained. There are large parking areas around each building, and they recently added a free valet parking service for impaired patients who need to exit right at the door of a building. I plan to go here whenever possible for my medical care.

It's absolutely amazing that they are able to be so consistently bad when it comes to wait times. If there were an award for amount of time clinics make people wait Toledo Clinic would win hands down every time. It's so frustrating. When I make an appointment for 11:30 I expect to at least be in the doctors office waiting, but no I'm stuck waiting in the main waiting room. Nobody ever has any answer or reason why people wait extraordinary amounts of time either.
