In other Tofino visits, we have stayed at much pricier places (which are lovely) but this was for a family gathering. This place worked out perfectly. We booked one of the garden suites as we wanted to be away from all the hustle and bustle and weren't concerned about the beach - it was less than a minute walk. Our suite was huge. Much bigger than the cabins right on the water. Everything in the room was totally adequate. The rest of our group were in the cabins on the beach and they were smaller but you were right there. All four families were happy with the accommodation. The kids and dogs were happy with the beach right there and all the lawn space as well as the pool and hot tub. The bbqs were new and nice. Nothing cheap about them. We were really happy with our stay here and would highly recommend it for groups, families or couples. We will stay again for sure.

Aside from the unique structure, we really liked this hotel because it was a beach front property close to restaurants/grocery store and had a fully equipped kitchen. The view from our balcony was beautiful - whether it be in the morning or evening. The hotel may look a bit rustic outside but we liked how modern and clean the washroom was. The kitchen also had complete and proper kitchen items we could borrow throughout our stay. Parking is next to the studio which made it very easy for us to load and unload our things. Guests observed silence in the evening which helped make it a pleasant experience for everyone. Customer service was mostly done by text. Check in and check out were easy and the procedures were sent by email. We also received reminders by text. When we had questions, the staff was a text away. This was very convenient for us and the staff responded quickly. This said, wifi and cell reception worked well during our stay as well. We would definitely stay here again!

We wanted to be right on the cliff overlooking crashing winter storm waves! We tried to make plans in 2024 for their offered 4-day Christmas special (room, tree in room, ornaments for tree in room, breakfasts and Christmas Day dinner) but by mid 2024 the rooms for that time period were booked. Waited to early 2025 this time and were excited to get into a fantastic Deluxe room king size bed on the third floor of the Pointe Building. So, where to begin with all the many amenities, attentive staff and management interactions! Room was a very clean rustic appeal and looked right over surf below. Meals in the circular area were all fantastic choices, the drinks enjoyable. They provided water waders and raincoats so we were able to walk on the beach next to the Inn and that was an amazing experience for us. Huge wide beach that went on for miles. Sand was hard-packed so really no issue of getting stuck. Our weather was accommodating so not much rain and great walking time. But when not traveling a bit along the coast the room was a great respite and relaxing experience. While winter is normally a rougher time to travel to Tofino, I can imagine it is wonderful to go there in the other seasons as well. Next visit perhaps Autumn!

Our very own private hot tub, we took full advantage of that! It had all the bells and whistles and was the perfect night cap to a great day. Inside we had a massive fireplace with all the wood you require to keep your cabin as warm and cozy as you'd like, we only put one log on and it lasted all night long. Not to mention the rooms were already warm with in-floor heating that kept our toes warm! The shower is beautiful and fits 2 for sure, felt like a rainforest! The bed was massive and super comfy. The front desk clerks were very nice. In the lobby, they have a water dispenser which I ended up visiting a few times a day to refill my water bottle. Our room was a family loft upstairs at the end of the resort. We drove one driveway over to park and unload. Not sure if they have accessible options for those unable to take stairs, but the gravel steps from the parking lot to the building were a little treacherous in the rain. Survived, though so all was okay there. The family loft had two queen beds on the main floor with a sink and bathroom. The upper loft area had two twin beds. For our party of five (2 couples and 1 kid under 10), the arrangement was a bit wonky. Ideally, we would have had a split of the queen and twin beds so the parents could be with their child, but it didn't quite work out that way. I wasn't a fan of the shared space having a separate sink from the bathroom. It was a lot of thinking ahead about what I needed to bring in the bathroom with me when showering or dressing. It wouldn't have been as big of a deal if we weren't sharing space with other people, but it took a little extra thought since we were with others. The room had a small TV, a good-sized refrigerator, a small microwave, a Keurig coffee maker, a kettle, 2 mugs, and a handful of disposable cups. The room was on the older side and had a musty smell, but it was clean. The walls and ceilings were pretty thin... I was paranoid about 10 PM quiet time, especially since we had a very energetic kid with us. No one complained though, so that was good. We were worried that our downstairs neighbor's dog would be keeping us up as we kept hearing it bark on the first day, but that turned out to be a non-issue. The view we had was of the harbor and boats with the misty mountains in the background, which was nice. We didn't realize it until after the first day but they weren't doing any housekeeping, so we went down to the office to request for more amenities like fresh towels, more coffee, and more toilet paper. The location was pretty central to town, so that was helpful to get a good walk over to the Wild Pacific Trail for a beautiful, scenic hike (2 miles to get there & back, 2 miles of hiking) and for hitting lunch and dinner spots nearby. Overall, this place was a bargain. The people were very lovely. The rooms could use some upgrades. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a good a value in a central location.
