The original driveway had been installed by another contractor with an extremely inadequate base, and it had deteriorated badly over time. From the very first meeting, Lyle impressed us with his professionalism, knowledge, and transparent approach. His quote clearly outlined every step of the job, including: * Removal of all asphalt and excavation to a depth of 16 inches * Placement of 12 inches of ¾" traffic bond stone, compacted and leveled every 4 inches * Application of stone dust for the final grade * Installation of Bestway Travista 80 Smooth pavers in Glacier Creek, with a Shale Grey border, aluminum edging, and 10" spikes * Polymeric sand used to fill and seal all joints * A new landing area with a Bestway Park wall and a beautiful 6-foot granite grey step * Careful grading to match the side yard walkway * Installation of a 4" PVC drain pipe to route downspout water away from the driveway, foundation, and yard Every detail was handled flawlessly. The workmanship was excellent -- no corrections or touch-ups were needed after our inspection. The entire crew was polite, thoughtful, and accommodating throughout the process. They even went the extra mile to replant our flower beds and top them off beautifully, leaving the site cleaner than when they started. To top it off, Lyle's quote was the most competitive and transparent of all the estimates we received. There were no surprises, and the quality far exceeded our expectations. Be very cautious... They delete comments from their Facebook page that are negative... Tom was…read moreunprofessional and the job was below standard. A 150 sq. ft. patio took 9 days when they estimated just 1 day. The pavers are cut in awkward places ruining any semblance of a pattern. They left gouges in the grass which they did not fill with sod. They left the driveway and garage a mess. They cracked our driveway and busted our new porch steps... They called it a successful job that "looked good"...

I am left with components of work not completed and a skid of interlock on my lawn that I will have to deal with in the spring.
