The hotel's ambiance is breathtaking. The gardens are so beautiful and tranquil. Having a terrace with our room and waking up each morning to the magical views was perfection. When we arrived and sat on the veranda having an aperitif we felt like this is heaven. The breakfast was spectacular. There is everything you could want and more. We had a delicious truffle dinner one evening and lite bites on the veranda or by the bar and everything was delicious. We took advantage of some of the spa facilities and pool and it's just what we needed to feel relaxed. By far the staff is what makes the experience even more exceptional. Diego, Luca, Francesca, Christopher, Hamet, everyone at reception, Katerina in the spa, Marina at breakfast and all the servers, sorry to leave out so many of the staff that made us feel so special. Thank you Lido Palace, we hope to come back and stay much longer next time.

Rooms are large and modern, beautiful bathrooms. Staff is very helpful with recommendations and absolutely awesome breakfast is included in your stay. Grounds are beautiful with small ponds, ducks and swans. Rent a car to go to different small towns around, Limone and SIRMIONE are definitely a must! Highly recommend staying here!

The location is perfect, the grounds are vast and beautiful, the…read morerooms have great views, and there are so many hidden amenities you'd never think of - they have fitness classes scheduled, outings and tours, a Garda our cars that gives free access to museums and the like, a washer/dryer room, etc. The location is ideal for being able to walk to the main part of Garda (15mins on the promenade by the lake) and for taking a dip in the lake or a run by the lake. It also has a sailing/biking rental place right inside so you can grab and go quickly in the morning. The two restaurants and a bar are also fantastic (though you need reservations). There are three pools- one for all, one for adults only, and an indoor pool. While you're relaxing by the pool, you can have a drink or a gelato or a massive watermelon from the cafe. Also there are bungalows for families and childcare options on the grounds (the "miniclub"). It's a very child-friendly place. Staying here really made me feel like I was on vacation, so relaxing, and so beautiful!

This hotel was a good choice for a two-night stay in Riva del Garda. We were able to stay in a…read moreroom with a balcony overlooking the lake. The slightly added cost was well worth it, as we put that patio to use each afternoon or early evening. The room itself was a bit tired, but perfectly fine for a short-term stay. I recall the bathroom being on the enormous side, especially considering the size of the room. I was a bit worried about being close to the piazza and the noise late at night, but for us it was never a problem, even with sleeping with the balcony door open (we were on the top floor). Breakfast each morning was in the dining room on the main floor. It was a buffet style which was included in the price of the room. We also used their parking, which was located nearby (though it was a tight space, but better than the alternative). In terms of checking out Riva, being centrally located on the piazza was a great advantage. There are several restaurants located in close proximity to the piazza, as well as a few bars. Overall, it was a relaxing two days in Riva at this hotel.

The gelateria Flora just outside the hotel is also worth a stop. The wellness area is very nicely done, even if quite small. There is no fitness area, but given the hotel being located just by the lake, it is worth going out to and have a run. The staff is very nice and helpfull. On the down side, the small things should be improved. No possibilities to iron a shirt (will cost you 2 euros) and the air con is not really working (at least in our room). But there is a free garage underneath the hotel, which is very convenient. The parc is quite nice and the outside pool looks good as well (opens only in mai, so couldn't try it). All in all, quite satisfied with this nice hotel.

The price of the hotel rooms was midrange around the area of Riva del Garda, I think. People at the front desk were super friendly and helpful, which was a big plus. The corridor to the "Rooms with a taste" on the fourth floor somehow had a very strong scent that was close to intolerable to me. Also the taxi service around the town was slow at times, which probably was not specific to the hotel.
