I bought a property of theirs in Edinburgh and the place is appalling and unliveable. They ignored several requests to fix all the faults, the basement parking may as well have been a swimming pool, the flooding was so bad, have not issued an occupational certificate, water quality certificate and electrical certificate, and now hide behind their lawyers, after telling everyone they have gone into liquidation, which is clearly not the case as they continue to trade. When battling to sell units, they heavily discounted the unsold stock so early owners have seen the market value of their property plummet. I am going to call in Cowboy Builders as well as the police to try and sort out my problems. In my opinion, if you buy a property from Sovereign House Developments, be prepared for the worst.
