They never kept us in the loop with anything till the last moment and explained nothing about the process to us. They must have changed our closing date several times and would blame us for not turning in documentation, which we sent numerous times before. There is so much more that we were unhappy with and would never recommend DHI to family and friends.

She procrastinated and threw my loan together a few days before closing. I was finally clear to close on the 30th of March. Conveniently for DHI, my interest rate "expired" on March 31st. When I did my final walkthrough (an hour before closing) the home was in terrible shape, but I was forced to close or else I would "lose my interest rate" and have to start the process over. It was so bad I began to think they were doing it on purpose. Use someone, ANYONE else!
