David was my sales guy!!! Upon walking in , building was more spacious than it appeared from the outside. Well lit building and clear of clutter. Shelves were well stocked and neatly aligned. David introduced himself immediately and was very friendly , welcoming and knowledgeable . He asked me the purpose of my visit and he took it from there. He gave me a tour of the inventory, showed me some products, taught me how to read the packaging and understand the ingredients and intake by mg, gram, and scoop. Very informative. He also let me sample a supplement that was delicious. There is also a smoothie and protein bar that I will definitely try when I'm back over this way . Whoever hired David kudos to your company for finally getting it right. He went above and beyond and he didn't have to . I appreciate it wholeheartedly. TLDR: Pushy sales people sold me products that have high amounts of lead. First and foremost, all of this is on me. If I had spent 5 minutes doing research and trusted my gut, I would have figured out that I should have never shopped here. I have learned my lesson and have to share so you don't either. I got weird feelings from the second I walked in seeing that they still had a sign about allowing in unvaccinated people. Most places don't care anymore (sadly), so why actively advertise you don't if not as a dog whistle. Red flag 1. The person I worked with (won't name names, they're likely trying to just do their job) was incredibly pushy. Red flag 2. But since I'm new to higher intensity workouts and I know gym culture can be a bit overbearing, I figured I would trust the process. I discussed briefly what I was wanting to do (lose weight, build muscle) and immediately was moved over to 1st Phorm (more on that in a moment) and said everything else on the wall wasn't good. Red flag 3. We discussed flavors and was recommended not just to protein powder but an additive to help with carb intake as well. Tried it and it tasted pretty good. Now what I didn't know at the time is that not only is 1st Phorm an MLM and has an incredibly awful CEO, but their products are know to have HIGH AMOUNTS OF LEAD. We got to checkout and another employee started trying to sell me stuff as well. Being uncomfortable in high pressure sales situations, I tried to keep the small talk and not buy anything more. As it turns out, the whole purchase for 1 1.9 lb tub of protein, an additive, and a shaker bottle came out to just over $90! Red flag 4. I thought that it seemed like a lot, but again, I questioned myself on what I knew and trusted people that had more knowledge than me. I left with my very overpriced goods in hand. It was only about a week later while researching protein shakes for meal supplements did I learn how awful 1st Phorm is. Once I knew I had been sold lead laced products, I truly knew I had been scammed. I doubt the company takes returns, but I'm going to try. Do not, under any circumstance, trust this company. Unless you like overpaying for lead, that is. EDIT: Credit where credit is due, they refunded my purchase in full. I also updated the amount I had spent to more accurately reflect true cost. Still will not be returning, but have to share what positives there are. read more

be prepared for aggressive kid who knows everything I asked about a product he never heard of before and he said that they didn't have it then I found it on the shelf and ....then he proceeded to give me advice about what the product was and how to use it. Don't even bother stopping. You know something's not right when a store will not price their products. I'm not saying that they just don't have price tags on the items or the shelves, they have no prices ANYWHERE. You have to ask. Which makes me wonder if I'd get a better price if I were younger or more fit or maybe if I said I'd give them a good review on Yelp. I asked why they didn't display any pricing. I was told they were a wholesaler, and they didn't want their competition to know their prices. First of all, the one price I asked about was a whole 13 cents less expensive than what I can purchase it for online. That's not wholesale. And secondly, if a competitor wants to find out your prices, they will. All they need to do is buy one of a few different products and they'll figure it out pretty quickly. So, instead of being concerned about the customer, this company is concerned only about their competition. Unless they figure out that potential customers don't want to feel like they are being deceived, the company won't be in business for long. I wonder if they will price their items for their going out of business sale. read more

These guys are great. They're always willing to talk to you about your goals and how you can get there. They even remember you when you go back. That's sweet. Regarding the negative review: Apple doesn't list prices on almost any of their products in store and they're one of the biggest companies in the world... There's a reason Supplement Superstore keeps expanding. They must be doing something right. I've used supplements for a long time. But I found they are useless unless your overall nutrition spot on (or close). They team at S2 in St. Peters is flat out awesome. Not just about selling you product but educating you and giving you options. Science based facts not just "bro science" to fit your goals.
