I went to this location to schedule a key fob installation, but they only had the Viper Remote…read moreStart available. The Viper is one of their more expensive fobs in the store. My son had just completed Basic Military Training, and he only had a few days before reporting to his duty station to get this work done. The Autotech Department or Geek Squad told us that the install would be worth it. After the installation, we drove the car home and parked it. The next morning, it wouldn't start. We called the Autotech department and were advised to bring the car back. The technician rewired some things and advised us that we were good to go. My son had to get on the road to head to his duty station the next day. My husband and I followed him there just in case there were any issues with his car. My son's car has stalled numerous times since the Viper installation. He took his car to a mechanic at a garage to have it checked out and was advised that there was nothing wrong with his car, that it was, in fact, the Viper. The mechanic advised him to remove the Viper from his car. My son called the nearest Best Buy to have this part removed and get his money back, but was told they could not give him a refund; they would remove the Viper. It cost him tow fees and days off from work to handle this issue. Sadly, anyone is treated like this, especially someone serving their country! They talked my son into an expensive fob, which they spoke very highly of, that causes issues. You should be able to speak with a professional and get what you want instead of being upcharged for things you don't need! A national store chain? Why was he treated like that? I hope management reads this post and provides a better outcome for this issue. My son isn't asking for anything more than what he paid for. I feel he should, at least, get his money back! Maybe you should reconsider who you have working on installations like this!

Long story yet a hilarious one for the brother n law. Boy, it was a tight budget. Some used parts on our end 1060 and 1700x yet the rest used parts bin on theirs. It didn't run warzone at all but that is OK! Casino rig met its match. Too weak. It socks two sock, sock it up butter cup! Lol 2nd build as I went all out for what I afforded in cash again and the 7800xt just dropped in spring 2023. Give or take. They came out with the blue prints, parts and put it together. Ddr5 non qvl rams in but was unstable. They swapped out to another set different sku. Same problem, they swapped again to non qvl g skill set but worked flawlessly with 7600x am5. All this free of charge. In the end. Techmonkey build they honor their build warranty. Positive light and learning for me. Ok warzone obviously on 1080p which I bought the monitor used from them it was like a space ship! 240 plus fps smooth. from like 43fps and crash on casino 1st build rig. I made my wife a computer with a friend based the things I learned from their 2nd build and I still stop by frequently with the rescued husky/shepherd Kyloren and zephyrus the husky. My build well, started with asus b350f motherboard and the 3700x wasn't jiving even with asus bios. I changed out to msi tomohawk b450 and now rams won't work. I bought rams on qvl per msi. No big. Works now! Oh the pc gamer banter is strong and good that I have a thick skin. We all learn now. My wife's computer is capped at 60fps and screen tearing on Destiny 2 so I bought the display port cable. 3070 asus. Try again maybe Friday. If the cable doesn't work. Asus going on permanent time out and my hellhound 7800xt. I feel like Rocky yo! Remember, I am self-taught. Techmonkey I love this place. On a pinch they always have something that I need. They looked at it and suggested a couple of parts that I needed which was an AIO cooler, power supply, and a couple of fans. They didn't rip me off, gave me the minimum of what I needed. I also purchased a beautiful case from them. After all was done, they installed game launchers, benchmark testing, SSD testing, installed windows 10, ran diagnostics to make sure everything was working properly and efficiently.
