Wanted some wine made in Dresden or the region. Got detailed info on the grape varieties of the Saxon wine they stocked and the vineyards/makers, and the staff member was happy to make some recommendations after we said what we liked and then a final call when we couldn't decide, and his choice was the cheaper of the two so we really felt we were getting quality honest advice not a sell.

Yes, Schloss Wackerbarth should also be a stop for you, but for great Buergerlicher hospitality and gemuetlichkeit, Matyas is the place.
