Superior Home Services out 7x over 6 months and say they never say an appliance is unable to be fixed unless obsolete part. So will not report unable to fix which is needed for warranty company (Lowe's Assurant) to replace. So after 6 months now pleading with Assurant to ignore report and replace. When I called for service, I informed them that my oven was very old and questioned them about getting parts. They confirmed that they use generic /standard parts and have most parts on hand. The service tech is here all of 5 minutes and says my oven is no longer supported. So, they bill me the $89 service call. I called Whirlpool and while they don't mfg. parts, there are 3rd party companies that do. I have ordered and replaced the part myself. I feel the service rep and the company just didn't want to do the job :-( read more

Contacted this company as Frigidaire lists them as a repair center in the area. While the phone attendants were helpful in securing a quote for a "garage kit" to fit our Frigidaire refrigerator, the amount that was quoted for this simple part and install was exorbitant! Minimum installation charge (even for a small part) was $160 PLUS $60 Service Call plus the part. They also required a $100 non-refundable deposit with no guarantee on when the part would be in stock (1 or 2 mos. or....?). Contacted another local service company and the cost was much lower and more in line with what would appear to be reasonable and customary. The competing company also said they would have the part ordered and in stock in less than one week. Sorry, but would not recommend this company based on this first and likely last experience. read more
