I received a DIY Outgas Cart from Erik after reaching out about a faster, cleaner way to cure my prints for my graphics business in WI. Erik and I chatted a bit about what our shops main services were and how this product could help my business. After receiving the cart, in perfect timing for an upcoming commercial wrap, I gathered the needed 20" box fan, casters, and screws to assemble and got it put together. Around $40 at Menards of added materials to assemble. I ran some prints off and set them in the cart and immediately I could feel the cool air being pulled through the loosely rolled prints. Within 4 hours my print no longer smelled of fresh ink and weren't sticky at all when rolled onto a core for lamination. I must also note that this is a much cleaner option than my previous way of unrolling and hanging prints to cure. The DIY Outgas cart is easily a great and affordable option to speed up your printing/wrap process at your graphics shop! For reference our shop prints with a Mimaki JV330-160 and Eco-Solvent ink. read more
