Over a decade ago, we chose this company to install custom blinds, and it has proven to be one of the best investments we've made in window treatments. Recently, we required some repairs, and their service technician arrived within two days, dedicating a couple of hours to address the issues. The cost for the service was minimal, and the quality of service was outstanding. I wholeheartedly rate this company 5+ stars! read more

Superior Blinds - Shutters Near Me - Litchfield Park, Arizona

Don't hire just any Shutter & Blind Company After numerous phone calls and 5 in home consultations, I finally found a shutter company to purchase my window coverings. I am so glad I came across Superior Shutters. My purchase from start to finish was exceptional. I was very pleased with the quality of service and the products Superior Shutters had to offer. I first worked with Victor, who came to the house, showed us samples of their product, measured the windows, and gave us an estimate. Victor was knowledgeable, professional, and answered all my questions and concerns. Melinda, from the office kept in touch and made sure the process of purchasing my blinds/shutters was effortless. Melinda, provided updates on production and delivery dates and worked around my schedule, when it came time for the installation. The blinds/shutters were delivered on time as promised. The installater, Luis , was prompt, courteous, and professional. Luis made sure we understood how to care for our blinds/shutters correctly and even cleaned all the windows, much better then I ever had. After the installation was complete Luis cleaned the work area, spotless. I appreciated Luis attention to detail. The price was very reasonable. Everyone we dealt with personally or on the phone was excellent, professional, thoughtful and easy to work with. I highly recommend Superior Shutters and Blinds. Thank you for a job well done. read more

I'm very satisfied with their work. They delivered over 40 windows in my house on time. Waited over 4 months for me to finish the remodeling and never called for payment. Installed within a day, and came back to make sure things were fine. Best price for the quality and AMAZING customer service. I'd highly recommend them. read more

Called to request a quote for shutters and blinds after moving into a new house. Received a home visit from Victor with measurements and discussion of products. Waiting 1 week for bid but never received. called 3 times and finally received bid for wrong products. Called office and received new bid but when i inquired about 25% off coupon was told was built into bid. When asked for original undiscounted bid was told was not available. When I asked to speak to office manager was told only a trainee was available. Facts 1)the bid was only dated the day i received it not the dated it was reportedly done 2)despite clear discussion on what products i was interested in got bid on wrong products 3)terrible communication and customer service requiring multiple calls with lack of follow thru BUYER BEWARE because if this what they are like before you pay what would they be like after????? read more

I was referred to Oscar at Superior Blinds from my shutter guy in Tucson (The Blind Guys). From the estimate to the install they were completely professional and on time. They got my shutters ordered on November 26 and installed on December 20. They did a great job and the house looks soooo much better. Will definitely use them again for future houses in Phoenix! read more

Amazing service! Jose and Luis did a great job with the install. Victor was true to his word on the arrival of the product. I couldn't be happier. Excellent value for the price read more

Our first warning sign should have been the unprofessional look of their showroom. Orders were stacked on top of one another, throughout the entire space, Making it difficult to walk around to view displays. Sounds like the perfect slip and fall case (safety issue). We had to walk through the war zone of stacked boxes towards the back where two women oblivious to us entering sat. Kat one of these women came to greet us, friendly enough, yet very scattered, all over the place. She wrote our contact information down to set up a consultation on a jumbled note pad with tons of writings and crammed our information on it with a green magic marker ?!?! Once the salesman Victor came out to our home we informed how unsettling and unprofessional their showroom was and how Kat was a bit unsettling and just all over the place. He apologized and said would address with staff, and there needs to be more awareness and training on their part for the staff in the showroom. Our first order went through with no issues, so we figured when we ordered two more shutters it shouldn't be a big deal right ? The second order was a complete mess and is what has brought me here to write this negative review. We were told that order would take about two weeks and they would call. When the two weeks came and I went I called the office to get an update. This time I spoke to Jill who had trouble finding any update on our order. She put me on hold for several minutes and said she sees our order but doesn't show anything else. She told she would reach out to Victor our salesman and her get back to us immediately. He never did. The next day I had to call back again left a voice message. I waited a day later to call again this time I got Kat, frazzled and unaware she said she didn't know what was going on and I should contact Victor . I explained to her what I had already done. She apologized over and over and said she would notify Victor to call me back. (Which he never did ). The following day I finally caught Victor live on the phone. At this point I was getting perturbed at the lack of communication which I sternly informed him. He apologized and said "my bad" he informed me at this point our order had been damaged upon delivery and was sent back as a reorder with an expedited return. Then back tracked saying can't guarantee the expedited return but would work on it and would be a priority. I informed him that I have been in contact with the showroom staff and they were unaware of any such damage or delay. Furthermore, they were unaware of where our product was. When I pressed he really didn't have an answer, just kept repeating the staff at the showroom are not properly trained and need further training on how to handle situations like this. He apologized and said that he would handle it. He said he'd call me back at the end of the week with an update. I waited the week and heard nothing back from Victor. At this point it's evident this company has no clue what's going on. It's now week four and again I have to call again for an update. This time around it's Jill who informs me that item should be delivered within the next two weeks but can't guarantee it. I explained to her my frustrations and how no one has kept me in the loop. She now starts putting the blame on Victor how he should have been updating me all along and it's his fault etc. I replied back how unprofessional this entire conversation was. Both sides are trying to put the blame on the other. As a customer I don't want to hear or know about this. Figure it out behind the scenes! I told her directly how unprofessional and inept this team was. She again apologized and promised to be better and would inform and educate Victor that he had not called me back with update as promised. At this point it's just air coming out of their mouths. There is no accountability at this business! As the weeks went on I had to make several more calls. During each time I got the run around, more excuses and was told different dates and updates by the two staff members at the showroom. Not once did any of these three team members take ownership and try to make this right, to be clear, concise or through communication. Nothing ! Seven weeks later, we still don't have these two blinds!! We contacted Victor to inform him we were done and cancel the order due to their ineptitude and poor communication skills. It isn't that there were delays, I understand things happen and we don't live in a perfect world. Of course I was disappointed. The fact that Superior Blinds continually disregarded our concerns and repeated requests for transparency and an open line of communication. Superior Blinds failed us time and time again. Major restructuring, training and ownership needs to occur for this business for it truly to succeed. I have lost faith in this company. I do not want this company in my home, nor do I have faith in them if down the road I need to service my blinds by this company. Beware! read more

I had shutters installed in my home. Superior blinds did a fabulous job. Victor was my salesperson. He was great! Answered all my questions and was able to correct a few problems that came up. I love them! read more

I spoke too soon. Superior blinds connected me with a hunter Douglas rep who insisted they would be the point person for me moving forward with my shutters. They gave me their card and over the last few years anytime one of my shutters would break they would come out and fix it free of charge. However that representative no longer works for Hunter Douglas and trying to get these blinds which have broken since the very moment they were installed, has been a nightmare. I am in contact with another interior designer in town and I hope that they can fix my issues. These shutters were a waste of thousands and thousands of dollars. read more

The sun beamed into our kitchen from the large arched windows. Southern exposure, though with the mid-day sun, who would know. Fair to say, it was bright. I sat with my laptop perched on the dining table trying to view the screen through the glare of the reflected light. Unable to do so, I retreated to a dark corner of my new house to get some work done. I messaged my wife, asking when the blinds we'd ordered over a month ago will be installed. "I don't know," she responded, frustratedly explaining that she's followed up several times with Superior Blinds and not heard back. As reliably as the sun rising and setting each day, we rehearsed this play at least once a week for more than a month. Finally, we reached a supervisor with Superior Blinds, who told us the blinds have not even been ordered, contrary to what we were led to believe. We were told that the 25% discount coupon sent to us when we moved into our new home was already factored into the quote, even though it clearly was not (the "discounted" price supposedly is a round $550.00 per blind while the undiscounted price is $733.33 per blind - yeah right). Nor is a discount indicated on the invoice. Superior Blinds offered no reasonable explanation. The sun still rises every morning and sets every evening, and in the middle it beams unbearably through our naked windows. I can work at home, but only away from those bare windows, fighting with my dog for a prime seat on the couch. We are exposed to the gazes of passersby on the street and nighttime headlights. And just as we started this process with Superior Blinds in the Summer, a new season is upon us. Autumn's arrival brings with it an opportunity to work with a company in the Valley of the Sun that is reputable and reliable. There's no need for me to throw further shade on Superior Blinds - they certainly gave us none. read more

I highly and enthusiastically recommend this company! Peer reviews do help! I am a homeowner and selected Superior Blinds for my window covering project. It's always recommended to collect multiple bids - and I did :)! Superior blinds offers 'good, better, best' product selection. In addition, their prices beat their competitors - within product categories. This is not all: Superior blinds truly provides EXCELLENT customer service: - They promptly schedule appointments - They confirm these appointments - Best yet (!) They show up for these appointments exactly on time. A shout out to this company's entire staff, especially Melinda who confirms all appointments. Thank you Superior Blinds! I love, love, love my new window coverings! read more

Had blinds installed in December 2019. Installation was very fast and all the work was on time. One of the blinds broke in June 2020. Company appears to be out of business as they are not returning phone calls or emails. Their webpage, answering system and yelp page all seem to imply this is still a going concern but it didn't appear that way to me. read more

Overall just very disappointed in Superior Blinds. I could list a myriad of things they did, but at the end of the day, just know they are not interested in the customer... only how much and how fast they can make a quick dollar. Even when I reached out repeatedly, they dismissed my calls and strung us along for over two weeks. Though their folks were nice and cordial at the onset, in the end, this is not an honorable business. I wish I would have read some of the BBB reviews and done my homework when it came to doing business with Superior Blinds. read more

We originally bought the window treatments for our house when we moved in July 2018. Unfortunately, some of the windows we noticed the color recommended was too light, so it was a disappointment but we figured we paid for it so that's that. When we decided to add more shutters to the staircase we mentioned this to Oscar who offered to let us use the credit of those specific window treatments that we didn't like to apply to new shutters. Which we did and they took the window treatments back we didn't like. We are now very pleased with how everything looks in the house. Only waiting for a replacement shutter for one of the windows as the one they brought was damaged. They were very apologetic about that, it happens no biggie. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is the lack of communication. When we met Oscar in May we liked him and were so happy with his communication as he told us three weeks and then they would be here. Then three weeks passed and we called but couldn't get any answers as to when the install was and they couldn't find our order information. I guess he was out of town for a few months? When he got back, we got a call that the shutters would be installed on the 9 of July. Just those two months of waiting with no follow up was a bit disappointing. All in all a solid four stars as it wasn't perfect but it was good service and we would 100% use them again! read more

On 4/13/21, we had two exterior motorized shades installed in our patio. We selected Superior Blinds based on their product warranty presented during the sales process. Their product warranty was very complete and appeared to address all issues. Shortly after installation, we experienced wrinkling of the fabric along the track edges. Although Superior tried a couple of times to resolve wrinkling of fabric, nothing improved. Finally, we were informed by Superior that their shade vendor, SW Sun Control of Tucson, would do nothing regarding the wrinkling. Their assessment was made based on photo's Superior's owner sent from his phone. After paying almost six thousand dollars for the shades, we were left with a very inferior product that has left us with buyer's remorse from the dealing with Superior Blinds. read more

We recently purchased a brand new home and got about half the windows covered with blinds by the builder before moving in. We quickly realized we should have probably gotten all of our windows covered so I called up our builder to see if we could get the remaining windows done. They were going to charge us about 4 times as much as when they originally installed so I figured I could find someone to do a pretty close match for a fraction of the cost. We received an ad in our mailbox for Superior Blinds so I thought I may as well get a free estimate to see how much it would cost and how closely they could match our existing blinds. Deborah at the office was very nice and professional and quickly contacted me to set up my estimate appointment. Oscar was also very nice and professional and said they could match the exact same brand/color. They ordered the blinds and set up my installation appointment conveniently on Veteran's Day. The installer was there for only 20 min and the new blinds look great. Not only was the customer service great, but they ordered and installed my new blinds for even less than I had originally paid through my builder. Such a great experience. read more

We bought a new home in Cave Creek. A month into it we decided to search for window treatments. After receiving several cards from various businesses in the mail, I reached out to each one. Bottom line.... Superior Blinds hit a "home run" from start to finish. Everything turned out absolutely perfect! They weren't the lowest, nor the highest price source. They delivered excellence and great value! read more

I would like to give a shout out to Superior Blinds. They are located at 13321 W. Indian School Rd. Suite 106, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 Oscar Lobo, owner / operator is awesome to work with. We put blinds in a previous home throughout and was amazed at the patience and professionalism Oscar displayed. Very personable and extremely customer oriented. Customer Service - EXCELLENT We have since moved into a new home and went back to Oscar and again, awesome service and professionalism. Also, he is very accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Side note: His staff is incredible to work with as well. I highly recommend Superior Blinds! read more

Communication and quality of shutters is very poor. I do not recommend anyone wasting there time with this company. There are other blinds companies that can do the job way better. Unfortunately we waited months for our shutters to come in and once they did the quality was awful. There were paint stains globbed on the shutters, the color of the paint was wrong, the hardware on the shutters was the wrong. Oscar promised us he would make it right and give us a discount, well when the new shutters (another month later) came in they were definitely better but not great. We left a message for the owner to call us as they just took the full amount out of our credit card without our authorization, and no discount as promised. We disputed the charge with the credit card company and one month later we finally hear from Melinda (not the owner) she calls us saying she is going to take us to court if we don't reverse the credit card charge. Granted we already paid half months ago. Anyways, they treat there customers like garbage and have zero communication. Save your time and money and go with another company. read more

Really disappointed! Ordered 3 shutters on October 31st. Was told 3 weeks. Today they were supposed to be delivered and installed. John called to say they weren't in the warehouse. Big thank you to Don and Jose. Excellent job they did installing the shades and very friendly. We are very pleased with the shades. They look great!!! The reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of Deborah. She was not very nice. At times she had an attitude and I never liked calling or speaking to her because she seemed like she didn't like her job and definitely not a people person. I would not have her answering the phones. Other than that I would recommend Superior Blinds and give a warning of what to expect with Deborah. Thanks Don & Jose!! read more

Oscar came out on October 7 to do my quote for vertical blinds on my sliding glass door. The following week I call to let him know that I was interested in moving forward to have them installed. He told me he would call me back in 10 minutes and I have not heard from him in over two days. I called his number back several times and I got no return call. When I called the company number rather than his own personal line I was told that he was the owner of the company and he would have to be the one to handle the installation for me since he had all the paperwork. Because of the inconsistency and lack of response I've decided to go with another company that is charging a little bit more but at least they return phone calls and respect customers time. read more

We purchased our new home about a year ago and initially had seven companies come out to provide estimates. I chose to work with Oscar at Superior Blinds for several reasons. He took the time to listen to our needs and we couldn't be happier with our Hunter Douglas wood blinds as well as the competitive prices. We had to order our window blinds so they would be ready for installation when we arrived at our Litchfield Park home in October. We looked at materials in our current location & then all arrangements were made by phone. Debra took our initial call (the 2nd company that we called never called us back, a 3rd large company had us talking with 3 different people & created much confusion.)) & had a rough estimate to us within 1/2 hour. Oscar followed up, took measurements in our home and gave great over the phone advice on final details. When I met him upon arrival in LP, he was very professional & super nice to work with. Jose did a great job with installation and later we had Tony do a great job tinting a very hot south facing window. Couldn't be happier with this business and their excellent service. read more

I decided to stop into the showroom one morning, just to ask some questions and to see what window coverings might be available for a sliding glass door; I was looking for other options than the standard, vertical blinds(yuck!). After just a few minutes of looking around, Oscar was helping me determine the correct covering, fit, and color that would suit my taste, budget, and style the best. At the measuring appointment, I was given an approximate time frame to anticipate delivery and installation. To my surprise and delight, the product was delivered and installed within the time frame I was initially given! Oscar was extremely knowledgeable of his product line, the ladies in the showroom were very friendly and extremely polite, and Jose was the installer of all installers! In my experience, most customer service orientated businesses these days, lack professional, knowledgeable, honest, and courteous service, not in this case, these folks were great! I would highly recommend this company and its staff to anyone looking for quality products, and a completely professional transaction! By the way, I bought the Hunter Douglas Duette Vertiglide, it seems to be a quality product! read more
