I will be honest I am definitely not the biggest fan of Tex mex, but this restaurant might have changed my mind. The restaurant was super clean as well as their restroom which we love! The service was incredible! Our server was super knowledgeable and even the manager was super kind! You can see him actively making rounds to all the tables making sure everything was great. Everything our server recommended I opted to try and I'm so glad I listened! The pink Cadillac was full of flavor and refreshing as a drink! The chips and salsa was delicious and the queso definitely was a star! I opted to get the street tacos both shrimp and catfish and finished both wishing I wasn't so full to have more. I've been to their location in Charlotte before so I was hyped to see they have one in Orlando. The food is always fantastic. The tuna tostada was amazing but a bit spicy. My favorite is their salad! Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! Our server was truly an all star. So polite with her introductions and menu explanations. On top of that, I really enjoyed the decor. The interior felt like a luxe glamping cabin! But of course, what good is any of it if the food doesn't deliver on taste. Fear not. The food was all delicious and truly hit the spot. We had a variety of brunch and lunch items around the table today and everyone was beyond satisfied. To start, beware the chips and salsas. They are addictively delicious. Our table of five annihilated three baskets. The two complementary salsas were nicely flavored and offered variety. One was Smokey w slight spice and the other mild and mellow. We added some queso for good measure which was another huge hit at the table. For the main, I decided on the fried catfish tacos and LOVED them. So crispy and packed with flavor. My only regret was filling up heavy on chips. I never learn. But it's okay, I did take the tacos home and enjoyed them as leftovers. I also stole a bite of the hotcake ordered for the table and wow! A little lunch action at Superica. Didn't realize how much I needed some fajitas in my life and decided to partake in the brunch menu that they offer. I ordered the steak and eggs not realizing it was gonna come fajita style with medium rare steak atop some delicious onions and a couple green chiles. That frothy steak butter preparation is a must to top the steak with. Assemble the house made tortillas to make yourself a glorious bite filled with everything you see in my pics. The pico, sunny side up egg, onions, steak, cheese, guacamole and sour cream.. then spoon in the different salsas that come with the fresh chips... oh yeah.. don't forget that butter on the steak:) We also had the huevos rancheros which I couldn't help but have a little bite. Fresh with all the fixins:) The sprinkle of cheese the sweet and savory crispy bacon made this dish extra delicious. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant interior is beautiful. It is a spacious Texas style restaurant. Plenty of parking around back, but not sure how open it would be in the evening. The food was good. Smokey is the best adjective for Superica. When you first walk in meat cooking over wood, maybe mesquite, maybe oak can be detected. From one of the salsas to the meat, they are pumping up the flavor. The decor screams very cool Texmex but this restaurant born in Atlanta and based in North Carolina, first and foremost is classy. The servers are attentive and helpful. Water and chips with the salsas were placed in front of me almost immediately. I arrived for an early lunch and sat at the bar so my server took the time to explain that the taco options can be mixed and you can choose the individual three tacos on your plate. The menus don't have pictures but the server showed me a picture of one of the taco styles (tacos al carbon) on her tablet. The food here is not cheap. Three tacos start at $18 and go to $29. There are some higher priced entrees like short ribs ($48) and a pound of steak fajitas at ($60.). There is a lunch/dinner menu and a brunch menu for weekends. Appetizers start at $14. They do have a sampler of enchiladas and a taco for $29. They specialize in margs and craft cocktails. The chips come in two jam jars of green salsa and the smokey red salsa which has a little heat. I thought the green was too bland and the red a little hot so I mixed them in the small bowl provided. I chose the shrimp, al pastor and brisket street tacos. My favorite was the shrimp which comes with "scampi butter"and was topped with a chile mayo. The al pastor had chunks of grilled pineapple amongst the crispy pork belly. I thought the brisket was a little dry despite being topped with a large slice of avocado. The food quality and service at this new restaurant is high and I want to come back with friends and share the queso and some of the appetizers. Chuy's another, Texmex chain, is almost directly across Orange Avenue and it will be interesting to see the two large restaurants go head to head. read more

So when they arrived I opened my tacos to see what was beef and what was chicken. In doing so I noticed I got all 3 beef( no big deal) but the amount of meat on the taco was insane. About a half tablespoon of meet and the rest was lettuce and cheese. We all ordered drinks that took about 30 minutes to even get. The server did the best he could but the place is understaffed. The chips are warm and pretty good, the salsas are just ok, nothing special. For the $ and food quality we won't be back. The frozen margarita was good but took forever to get and it literally comes out of a machine on the counter. The others I dined with got fajitas and seemed to like them ok. read more

As a table we split the nachos; the chicken on the nachos was incredible. Visited Superica for the first time Sunday afternoon for brunch/lunch and let me tell you it did not disappoint! I was more in the mood for lunch so me and my party split the Queso Compuesto and the Chicken Fajitas and this was the perfect amount of food for us 3! The chicken was so tasty and beautifully seasoned not like any other Tex Mex place either! The chicken almost had a smoked flavor and they serve it with a butter foam that was a super unique touch! The service here is top notch we were seated and had our food within 20 mins and I also did call ahead seating. I really enjoy restaurants that offer to put you on the waitlist. I wish I would have gotten our servers name she was super friendly and attentive! I really enjoyed the food and drinks. My husband and I usually share plates and buy a side because we don't eat as much as we used to. We got a large platter that was very much worth it. I really liked their concept and decor on the inside, very Texas! They have a large open 2 level space with a full bar. We were seated in the upstairs area, which holds about 10 additional tables. The service was fast and efficient. Each table comes with a homemade hot sauce! Super cool!! They start off the table with complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered the queso, which was very good. I opted for the Enchiladas Verdes and my girlfriend ordered the quesadilla. The portions were quite generous and the food was great. Every Tex-Mex place I visit, I always order the Enchiladas -- so trying them here was a tell tale sign if it would be good or not. A friend told me how great Superica was, so I needed to try it. I went with my family for my mom's birthday, and we had the best time. We didn't make a reservation and walked in on a Sunday around 3 p.m. It wasn't too busy, so we had no trouble finding a table. The restaurant has an open space layout with high ceilings and natural light. There's also a second floor. I liked the decor and also that it has covered outdoor seating. We were welcome with free chips and two salsas. These salsas were so delicious that we asked for refills. Then we got the queso fundido with chorizo, which was another big hit at the table. For our entrees, we ordered the steak and chicken quesadillas and grilled chile relleno. It wasn't the best Tex-Mex food I have had, but it was tasty and we enjoyed our meals.. The portions were large, too. For drinks, we ordered The O.G. margarita. Although it doesn't come in a traditional margarita glass, we still liked it. I had heard great things about Superica Tex-Mex in Atlanta so I was excited when I heard we were getting a Winter Park location. We stopped in during their soft opening for a late dinner after an event and to our surprise, they were not busy at all. It's a big open space with a full bar, what looks like a private event space on the second floor, and a large projection on the wall featuring iconic country performances. Dolly Parton was on the big screen the night we visited. First off, the complimentary chips & 2 salsas they give you are some of the best I've ever had. Both salsas are amazing, but the spicy/smoky red one was our favorite. It was soooo addicting and we could not stop eating it. We started off with some of their fresh agua frescas -- hibiscus lemonade and grapefruit which were super refreshing. They also have horchata which I'd like to try next time. Shoutout to our awesome server, Emily, who made excellent recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the menu. For my main entree, I went for their street style tacos and opted for the tacos de camarones (gulf shrimp, "scampi butter", cheesy tortillas, cabbage slaw, morita chile mayo). They give you 3 massive tacos served with double corn tortillas and a side of their charro beans. The tacos were very tasty and I was very impressed by the tortillas that did not break or fall apart. All their dishes are very large, generous portions and I could not even finish it, but it made for great leftovers the next day. Also, I'm not even a big fan of beans and usually just don't eat them, but their charro beans are actually amazing. It's more like a cozy bean soup and I really enjoyed it! My husband went with their traditional Tex-Mex tacos al carbon and got the chicken & crispy pork belly which he said was very good. He also could not finish his and we were absolutely stuffed. We asked our waitress if the AC was down and she thought it was. Next was the drinks and appetizers. Chips, salsa and queso were all really good! I got the margarita called bandit Queen. It was good but it didn't blow me away and it was a very small glass for the price. Next - the entree I got was the Tacos El Carbon with chicken. From other photos that I saw from this dish I thought it came with a sauce or cheese and it said "salsa cremosa." It could've been partly my fault on that but the chicken was very dry! It needed some kind of sauce to moisten everything. The rice and beans that are unlimited are very good and the service from the waitress was great. After driving by this location for some time and seeing the vast number of cars in the parking lot, I knew I needed to pay a visit. I went on a Saturday night around 6pm. No reservation but was able to be seated right away for a party of two. The inside of the restaurant is grand due to the extremely high ceilings, industrial lighting, and the Queen concert that was being projected onto a large wall. We took the elevator to the second floor where our table was. The second floor looks out over the rest of the restaurant. Our server Alyssa was very helpful and provided great recommendations (also just a great server all around, we wanted for nothing our whole meal). I ordered the Ginger Margarita. It was tasty and even came with a ginger candy in the drink which was a nice touch. Chips and 2 different kinds of salsa was brought to the table. I ordered the 1/2 pound skirt steak fajitas with the gulf shrimp add on. SO GOOD. It came with tasty beans, 5 tortillas, and all the toppings. It was $40 for the skirt steak fajitas. The only thing I would recommend would be more peppers to be included with the cooked onions and steak. Overall great experience. I even thought the to-go containers were quite nice! I ordered the Migas Plate which I've never had before and it was SO good. Scrambled eggs, chorizo, jalapeños, tortilla strips, cheese and 2x fried frijoles (refried beans...clever name) were so great. I don't know what it is about the tortillas at this place, but I'm going to say it's their signature item for me, because it makes every dish they make all that better. Had a great time trying out this new spot in Winter Park! I had The Tempest to drink... if you are a mezcal fan would recommend! For an appetizer we tried the Queso with chicken. The portion size was massive! Their house chips are sooo good, and the house salsas that come with are really great as well. For entrees we tried the pork and steak tacos. The pork was my favorite; I liked the addition of the pineapple for a different flavor. I was stuffed at this point (we had a ton of leftovers) so we took a tres leches to go - this was incredible and would definitely recommend. Five, all day. Saw this on IG in the morning and was here the same night. Anything Tex-Mex I'm all for it but this is NEXT LEVEL Tex-Mex food. They even have brunch, which I am excited to but have yet to try. Being new, we decided to ask for some suggestions and Kevin gave us a full run down of nonstop deliciousness. We started with the queso, added chicken, SMOKE. He told us just about everything is cooked on woodfire when giving us the story of how they came to be, but you taste it, its present and its incredible. There is a love and hint of fire in every bite. I bodied most of it myself behind a sip of OG margarita delivered as a true classic. Protip, we did get different chips with the guacamole [also good, pretty regular but fresh flavors] and these thicker chips were more managable than the table chips. Now my son, still a baby, tore up his whole cheese quesadilla with rice and beans plate. A baby, watching elmo at the time, licked his fingers clean. I stole a piece of his quesadilla for ..parent tax, and dipped it in the queso, unbelievable combo. I knew what I was getting from the beginning, half pound of steak fajitas, no question. There was the whole experience: steak piled high, plate sizzling, seared to perfection. Now what set this apart; butter. I want to say they said it was Mexican butter, and I can't tell you what was Mexican about it but it took already great steak to a divine steakhouse level dish. Taking the quality tortilla [likely made in house], I spread the butter to coat the vehicle, added steak, tomato, this green sauce from another plate that was the spiciest of any sauce available, and I was tasting one of the best tacos I've ever had. Overall a good experience. I went with a group of friends. Half of our group got a classic chicken quesadilla and we all admitted though it was okay, but it was definitely salty. A friend of mine ordered the street tacos and and another friends got an enchilada and I was able to try some of their dishes. I would definitely order one of these the next time over the quesadilla. Three of us decided to go here for lunch and check it out. The ambience was very welcoming as was the staff. Despite the high ceilings, it was pretty quiet in here. We were greeted promptly by a wonderful server Ashtyn who brought us some of the most deliciously light, crisp, warm chips I have ever had, served with 2 unusual and very flavorful salsas to dip them into. One was made with fire roasted green tomatillos and the other was an avocado based salsa. Beware because they all are so delicious that it's easy to fill up on them! Next, we all decided to try a different type of margarita, all of which were very small in size but large in price. Our two regular type margaritas came in very small cocktail glasses which were full of ice and about six sips of Margarita, none of which had any tequila flavor or effect in them but the mix was quite yummy. Even the Pink Cadillac margarita at $18 was in a small champagne glass with no significant alcohol in it that could be noted or felt. Two of us decided to share the chicken fajitas which came out with a lot of chicken as we ordered a pound but only had a few grilled onions in the bottom and one jalapeño. The chicken was roasted and delicious and somewhat moist. The large flour tortillas tasted homemade. Our other person ordered a hamburger which she said was very delicious. It was quite large with some big potato wedges. We were quite shocked at some of the prices for the main entrees of up to $45. Really? For Tex-Mex? As it was, for the three of us to each have a drink and only two entrées are bill came to over $100 plus tip. My friend and I visited Winter Park for the day recently and decided to have dinner before heading home. I found Superica on Yelp and the ratings were awesome so I decided to give it a chance. I'm so happy we did. We were greeted as soon as we entered and seated at a nice table near the entrance and restrooms. I was immediately impressed with the ambiance and cleanliness of the restaurant and shortly after we were seated, our server Stephen showed up with a bowl of freshly fried homemade tortilla chips and 4 varieties of salsa. He was friendly, welcoming and eagerly helped me to choose one of the many tempting options on their menu. My friend ordered a salad and added on roasted chicken. I ordered the streak arrachera and a Mexican coke. I knew the food would be good after tasting the tortilla chips and the interesting sauces that accompanied it. I was wowed when my steak came out sizzling with a little container of garlic butter, rice, beans, tortillas and all the standard toppings. The steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare) and the portion was pretty large. I tasted my friend's salad and it was so tasty. The chicken was roasted to perfection and very flavorful. We ended up having to take food home and Stephen cheerfully packed up our leftovers and surprised us with a big bag of fresh chips and salsa. He also comped my Mexican soda because of our long drive. Stephen is the server everyone dreams of having. Along with the memories of an amazing meal, his kindness and generosity will be remembered. My mom got the tacos Al cabron she especially gushed about their pork belly saying it was incredibly flavorful and tender to the point it melted in your mouth. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup which was an appetizer but still found it quite filling. I usually don't talk much about the interior design but this was very memorable with the high ceilings and hanging lights. Would definitely see this being an amazing date place for those looking to impress. Service was very attentive and helpful.
