I was recommended this place by my coworker. I had recently gotten my hair cut at a different place…read morearound the same location and for the price I was charged I honestly didn't see any difference in my hair. When I walked in Sylvia the owner immediately spotted what the previous salon had done to my hair. Which was a whole lot of nothing but a horrendous disconnection that almost looked like I was wearing bad extensions. My hair was dirty but told I just wanted a quick cut no wash no styling. Something I can either wear straight (blowout) or curly which is my natural texture. She wet my hair and detangled it, I showed her some reference pictures and she immediately got to work. Explaining step by step what she was doing which I thoroughly enjoyed since I was nervous from my previous experience at a different salon (they're lucky I'm not mentioning the name) the haircut took roughly 20 minutes. Almost immediately I could see and feel the difference. My hair started to dry and I could tell it was going to look absolutely fabulous no matter how I decided to wear it. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I went home showered and styled like I normally do and I was just thrilled with the results. I highly recommend Sylvia. The salon is an absolute gem. On top of that the pricing was way better than I anticipated. Highly recommend!!!! I've posted a picture of my haircut, pricing, and my reference!
