Posted this to google reviews too. Went in for a hair cut since long hair has been driving me mad. I was sat with an older stylist and had several references at the ready which were immediately rejected since they were of an animated character (I am a nerd but I did my best to find clear references of the layered cut. I cut my own hair all the time using these references and do a good enough job that my own work gets complimented. I just wanted to be lazy and have someone else do it) I pulled up images of wigs with the same cut since the stylist wanted actual hair and was told no that wouldn't work either. She then demanded I look up a shag cut and so I did knowing I wouldn't find what I wanted since this style was very specific and not a shag cut at all. She demanded I keep scrolling despite my insistence that none of the images were of what I was wanting. She finally relented and told me to look up the characters hair on people (cosplayers) and I did and scrolled and she picked out the very same wig image I had pulled up already that she claimed wouldn't work. She started asking questions about it and I clarified that I wasn't too worried about my hair being cleanly cut its a messy feathered layered look. All I wanted was for my long side swept bangs to not be touched. I said maybe an inch or so for split end removal but I didn't want my bangs to be messed with more than that due to issues I've had in the past with salons adamantly refusing to listen to what I wanted with my hair. I was intending to fix my own bangs myself later in the day. This lady could not FATHOM the fact that I did not want my bangs touched she argued with me said they aren't even bangs (as if that somehow changed that I DID NOT want them messed with much) Heck even the reference image had a similar extra long hair in the same place I did not want messed with like my reference even accounted for the long bit of hair I knew I'd retain. She just kept arguing in circles about how my hair would be uneven and weird and I kept telling her that was my intention. She refused to listen and said she was uncomfortable and went to get the other stylist. Both came over and argued about what I wanted the elder still didn't seem to be understanding that I wanted the long streak. The younger lady seemed to get it so we proceeded with the cut. By the end she took off too much my hair is now thin and choppy. Not layered properly at all. It's way too straight in some awkward chunks and way too uneven in other awkward chunks. It's too thin for me to even attempt to fix now. It feels like she didn't even go to any school to learn how to do proper layering. Even I know how to properly layer and I didn't even go to a school. Now my hair is constantly stabbing me in the eye in one side and I feel ugly with it. This isn't at all like any of the references I provided. I was too anxious to show distaste especially after so much arguing earlier so I just quietly said it's good paid, tipped, and left. But through the rest of the day and even now every time I see it I hate my hair more. My hair was one of the features of myself that I genuinely loved and took great pride in and now I just hate seeing it. I wanted to dye my hair after I got home but now I need to wait to do so. I need to let it grow out so I can fix it myself and feel love for it again. I think this will be my final experience in a salon. It was so miserable and truly a reminder on why I will only ever do my own hair. I rather the annoyance of a mess in the bathroom and the strain of using two mirrors than the ease of letting someone do it for me with the risk of it getting so botched I feel ugly for weeks. About 6 weeks ago, I went to our local S.C. ; with a clear pic of what was wanted. The stylist said she understood what to do. About halfway into the cutting, I began feeling sick in my stomach. I asked if she wanted me to get the photo back out for refreshing what was requested. She that it wasn't needed & that she had the picture in her head. When I finally was able to see myself in her mirror, I couldn't help beginning to cry!! What I had recently paid $80 to color my hair was gone!!! She was asked 'what happened?? You said you had in your mind what was wanted & this DEFINITELY NOT it! She merely said, as she pointed to poster on wall, 'I went by that'; which was even close. Since cutting off all I had, I'm required to wear a hat; until my wig arrives. It can't be told which sex I am!!!! DON'T USE THEM!!!! read more

Out of all the years that I've been having my haircut, I have never run into an experience such as this as I ran into in the salon with a gentleman who was cutting my hair, was more interested in the client in the chair next to him then he wasn't trying to find out what it was that I needed him to do with my hair until at one point he was paying attention to the other client, and with the bus cutter cut off the back of All of my hair that doesn't sound like shoulder length. If you ask me I told him I needed my haircut shoulder length and that we would discuss how the front of it should be cut as far as I wanted it to be long enough on top to where I could curl it and wear it forward Well needless to say that is not what I got. I got something that looks like somebody got into a fight with my hair and a pair of gardening shears. He apologized for his inability to do the job in which I had asked him to do and the job that I had paid for. Needless to say it's not that, I asked for a cheap haircut but a cheap haircut is what I got and definitely not what I wanted so as far as my recommendation for this place, if I were you, I don't think I would take my dog here to be shaved so therefore, don't go to Supercuts not at the Dawsonville location and if you do, there's a young man in there who wasn't even willing enough to give his name but I will find out and continue this post when I find out his name so that you'll be aware of not to whom like cut your hair sorry about the rent but please protect your hair. I know that it grows back, but come on. Do I have to look like Sasquatch is lost cousins until it grows back. read more

Went here because I thought "hmm all they have to literally do is cut a straight line a little above my shoulders." I was wrong! I go in at 6:40 and the girl with purple hair walked up and said "you're right on time we are about to close" and then said "well, we close at 8:30 but whatever." So I sit down and I tell her what I want. I asked her how long she did hair for and she stated "3 years. I know how to do everything." Well obviously not well because I left with a head of wet hair because she didn't dry it and my hair is so uneven and choppy that I have to get my hair fixed somewhere else because I DO NOT trust this place! Never again will I go to SuperCuts! It's uneven by about an inch! I even told her that it was uneven and she said "well yeah that happens sometimes" ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO. read more

STAY AWAY!! I have never been treated so bad at a public place ever in my life!! My family and I have been going to this location since it opened, I even recently wrote a review stating what a good job they did. That was until my husband and I went in this week to get his hair trimmed with was just supposed to be a simple fade. My husband, myself, and a stylist was discussing a fade haircut when TAYLOR another so called stylist decided to butt into our conversation and jumped all over us. She was yelling and screaming at one point I thought she was going to jump up out of her chair to come punch me in the face. Taylor is a disgrace to Supercuts!!
