Nice big supermarket a short walk from the Calvi town center. Equivalent to a Sainsbury or Safeway/Albertson's. Aside from the food and household goods you'd expect there are decent DVD, game, and book sections including a small selections of English language books if you ran out of beach reading material. They also have a fair selection of Corsican goods if you find yourself without souvenirs at the end of your vacation. Also a fair selection of electronics needs, including plug converters and the like. All in all very convenient if you're in Calvi for a bit and find yourself missing some basic that a corner market can't quite cover. We came in for picnic supplies after getting some fancier selections at Annie Traiteur in town. Has some automated check out counters as well in case your French is feeling shaky. read more
