The salad was nice and fresh. The octopus was my favorite part of the dish as I really like octopus here (and recommending getting it here since it is generally cheaper in this area. My partner ordered the arroz a la tumbada which was the meal of the day and came with this pear/honey dew flavored drink. It had a very flavorful broth and a good variety of seafood which included crab, octopus, clams, fish and prawn style shrimp. Yum. My only complaint was there was a little sand in some of the seafood. I would not hesitate to come here again and thought the food was reasonable since it was less than 250 pesos for two meals that all three of us shared.

You have to be careful to pick out all the fish bones. My partner also thought the head of the fish was good but I was too nervous to try it. It came with limes, refried beans, tortillas and rice. It was suppose to come with salad as well but they ran out so they gave us extra rice and beans. We didn't know the rice and beans were extra since there was no salad and we thought it was a replacement. They didn't charge us for the extra limes however and we took the extra tortillas with us. I liked the beans a lot more than the rice. Overall it came to 100 y 20 pesos or about 6 US dollars for a meal we both shared. Very worth it to try the local fish. Pro Tip: I recommend taking bug spray with you since I got a couple bug bites while I was there. They didn't have running water there so we had to use a bucket of water to wash our hands over the sink. There was no soap so you may want to bring your own. Also, the toilet was a bit gross so I recommend avoiding it if you can.

The food was served in a timely matter, the customer service was very professional, and the overall ambience and feel of the restaurant was top quality, especially for a restaurant that is practically indoors. We were entertained with live music including a large and beautiful harp and a traditional Mexican dancer who danced with the beat in traditional Mexican attire. Since I used the bathroom this time I can also say that the stalls spacious enough for the capacity of customers served and were clean and fresh smelling with trash cans in every stall and adequate toilet paper. We had chipotle flavored fish with a beans/rice mixture and plantains on the side. Everything went perfectly together. For our appetizer we had a very flavorful crab tomato soup as you can see from the photos. Super flavorful meal that had us enjoying every bite. The crab soup was a bit salty but the crunchy tortilla crackers helped to balance that out. A few small shells in the soup but we easily picked them out. Would easily order this meal again. For dessert we had corn cake with vanilla ice cream. Yum! I never had dessert corn cake before, you need to try this.
