As new homeowners, my boyfriend and I have been on the lookout for different ways to make our place feel more like home. Next on our list was to get some rugs to both protect our floors and to liven them up a bit as well. We found a fantastic variety of rugs at Supergoods--in the classic Swedish style.
These rugs are made from recycled vinyl (so are not at all soft to the touch but have a nice texture). You can use them indoors or outdoors and can also wash them in the washing machine. Ok, enough about these rugs (can you tell I'm slightly obsessed?).
The store itself offers a wide variety of recycled and environment-friendly goods, including shoes, clothing, home decor, paper goods.....the store is small and does not hold everything but the website is extensive and the owner is quite accommodating to order what you'd like (if seen on the site but not in the store).
While pricey, the vast majority of the items you are able to purchase with ecocheques!!!! So for those of you who have purchased enough TVs, refrigerators, etc. with your ecocheques, check Supergoods out, located not so far from the Mechelen train station in case you plan to buy smaller things. read more
