All the effort Ms. Nicola Hosier and her staff put in to make the event the best possible it worth every penny you pay. Nicola Hosier is the best wedding planner! Ms. Hosier is not only an amazing talented professional, but she's also such a cool person. She treats all of her clients like family. We met her in July 2019 and we booked her for our Traditional Nigerian Engagement, our Wedding Ceremony, and our Wedding Reception but, due to Covid-19, we had to reschedule for this year, June 18-19, 2021. First, she is very professional. She contacts you in a timely manner and she asks you questions about your events so she can make your dream wedding come true. She made the whole process of planning my wedding fun and stress free. She assisted us with planning our entire wedding from beginning to end within our specifications. She set up several complimentary consultations. She pays attention to every small detail. Ms. Hosier was always very patient, responsive, and she was up to date with the most current and fabulous trends. Secondly, N'novative affairs provides affordable but, high quality event decor and services. For example, we met with other wedding planners and they were trying charge us just for consultation. When we met with N'novative Affairs and décor, they provided us with several planning packages, and a photo gallery of their past events. Thirdly, N'novative Affairs and décor provided development and management of wedding day timeline for bridal party and vendors (Ceremony & Reception). Scheduling and coordination with vendors on arrival times, set-up details, event logistics (Ceremony & Reception). For example, Nicola contacted all of our vendors and she set up an arrival time and departure time for the vendors. Furthermore, our two-day event was by the far the most special days of our lives. Nicola Hosier and her team literally made our dreams come true. From start to finish I could not have asked for a more dedicated visionary working to make everything happen and it was truly magical. The details to the design and the execution of how everything turned out was beyond expectations. For example, when our guest arrived to our Nigerian Traditional Engagement Ceremony, they were impressed by the design of the event hall and the quality of the decor. We had our Wedding the next day, the church and Ballroom décor was simply amazing. When it comes to event decor, Ms. Nicola Hosier has a special gift and those who experience her become richer because of it. She is a great human being. Ms. Nicola Hosier has a great personality, and she treats you like your family and it feels like you've known her for a long time. Not to mention gaining a new family member through it all to make it even more special! I definitely appreciate her work ethic and I definitely recommend others to hire N'novative Affairs and Decor for your upcoming event. The wedding was June 12th and I think I've looked at the pictures from the wedding every day since. The staff was so nice in making sure that the guest and wedding party were content and happy. The invitation said 6, but the wedding didn't start until 7, but no one seemed stressed about it, so I assumed it was an early time on the invite to make sure people didn't arrive late. There was a cash bar, and while I spent $48 without tip on 4 drinks, I'd happily to it again. They poured up a good drink There was an outdoor patio for standing around while we waited for the ceremony to begin, taking pictures, talking and smoking etc. The wedding was lovely overall and this venue only added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious, there was salmon, chicken tenders, brisket, Cesar salad. The collard greens were not to my tasting, but I'm from the south and nobody makes collards better than my grandmas and aunts. Again....Kelly and her team deserve all the accolades for what was seemingly a stress free wedding environment.
