They have decent parking in front and on the side of the building, and it's well lit. It's clean inside and I love driving in there because you can smell the clean laundry smell a block away. I just moved to the area and travel a lot / live a very busy life. The apartment I'm living has a coin op, but the equipment is small and expensive, so I looked around for a nearby place. Imagine my surprise when I found that I Family Coin has laundry by the pound service that only costs me a few dollars more than doing it myself. I usually drop it off sometime on Saturday and it's ready later that day or Sunday morning at the latest. They do a simple wash and fold service, so if there's anything complicated or delicate, you'll probably want to handle that yourself. They also have a little bodega attached, with drinks, snacks, and some essential items like eggs and milk. Makes it handy if you need to stock up on staple items while making a laundry run! Marian is the manager who's usually on duty, and he's been great to work with. I'm a weekly regular now so maybe I'll see you there!

One broken machine was full of trash, a mop bucket full of dirty mop water was just left in the center of the room, ceiling fans were caked in dust and lint, another malfunctioning machine had clearly leaked and the dirty towel as well as a soiled laundry bag sat nearby, random other detritus was otherwise strewn about. The prices on laundry machines was quite fair and I must say they were at least clean inside. Dryers are without any kind of time readout to let you know how much drying time you have remaining and no signage is there to tell you what kind of time a quarter gets you. When my time and money ran out, the attendant was nowhere to be found to change more quarters for me, so with most of my clothes dry and only a couple items needing a touch up, I just gave up. The attached bodega is a nice touch, but shelves were poorly stocked. A little time and attention from the business's proprietor would go a long way into improving future reviews.
