At around 8 o'clock at my job, I figure I need to call to pre-book a cab for when I'm off work at 9:30. I call them, I say for 9:35 pm, they say no problem, take down place, destination, even my name. I thought, okay great, this should work just fine. At 9:30ish, I'm heading outside of my work with the rest of my coworkers, and I don't see a cab. Okay, fine. At 9:35 I call and ask about my pre-booked cab. They said that the drivers were busy! I asked why it wasn't pre-booked, they said that they became busy or something. Okay, not really another option at the moment, how long? They said 5-15 minutes! I'm standing outside in only a sweater, because I didn't think I'd have to wait outside for my ride, when I pre-booked a cab. Fine. So 15 minutes go by, as I'm getting cold and fingers freezing and I'm texting people looking for a ride. I realize the time and call again. Again, a little ticked about the pre-booked part. He says they'll be ANOTHER 10 minutes. I say fine, and he hangs up. This is the point my mom gets fed up and gets herself ready and warms up the car to just come and get me. The driver himself calls me 5 minutes later saying he'll be on his way soon, 5-7 minutes, and I tell him not to bother because I found another ride that's ACTUALLY going to show up when they say they will. I'm not sure if pre-booking was the problem, but if they say okay, they should probably show up on time. Thankfully, I got home safe and am now warming up. Luckily it wasn't too cold outside or there'd be a lot more of a problem than it already is. Just to add here, when they have showed up to get me, the drivers tend to drive a little fast and slightly... Scary. Just to add to the list of things wrong. So just a warning I guess, don't bother with Teco Taxi IF you can even avoid it, I know there's not a lot of cab companies in town, but this is ridiculous. In the future, if I can at all avoid it, I will NOT be using them.

They called at the arrive timing saying they were on their way, then the actual driver called saying he would be 10-15 mins as he just got the request when I called the company back they said "maybe the drivers car isn't working". He tried so many excuses. Poorly run company, horrible customer service, unreliable Lesson learnt if you come to FSJ get a car rental!

During this time, the driver was trying to tell me something, but I couldn't understand him clearly due to his strong accent. I thought he was saying "car decline," which didn't make sense to me in the moment. I stepped a couple of feet away from the car while holding my baby to place her on the sidewalk and was planning to go back to ask the driver what he meant. Before I could return, the driver suddenly yelled at me very rudely, saying "Hey, stop!" in a loud and aggressive tone -- this happened right in front of my child, which was very upsetting. It turns out he was saying my card had declined, but his tone and behavior were completely inappropriate and made an already stressful morning worse.

This cabs company is an absolute hazard and should not be allowed to operate. Their drivers are…read moreinexperienced, ignorant, and display unsafe driving practices that repeatedly put lives in the Peace Region at risk. They have a history of erratic behaviour, including speeding, lane crossing, and other reckless habits that make them completely unfit for operation. If you value your safety, and those around you, avoid the ride. It's shocking they're still in the road given their blatant disregard for basic road rules and public safety. Not to mention, when you call and make a complaint they are unfazed and unbothered, showing no concern for public safety.
