Five stars is not nearly enough to convey how wonderful the hotel and their staff has been. I wish Yelp offered 100 review! I have been staying here for over a week while my friend is in a nearby hospital. This is not a vacation, and under very difficult circumstances, being able to stay somewhere that feels safe, comfortable, and welcoming has meant more to me than I can put into words. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff has been incredibly kind, compassionate, understanding, and accommodating. They know what I'm going through and have gone out of their way every single day to help me, make me comfortable, and make me feel at home. They have even provided me with complimentary meal vouchers, helped with my laundry, and consistently take the time to ask about my friend's health. Those may seem like small gestures, but during a stressful and uncertain time, they have meant absolutely everything to me. Because my friend does not yet have a definite discharge date, I have had to extend my stay several times. The staff has been wonderful about working with me and making the process as easy and stress-free as possible. Hospital stays are never easy, and being away from home during such an emotional time can be incredibly difficult. The kindness and compassion I have received here have made a very hard situation a little easier. The staff at this hotel truly deserves a rave review. Every person I have encountered has treated me with genuine care and kindness, and I am deeply grateful. I would like to mention the incredible staff members who have showed me so much kindness, care and understanding. They go far beyond doing their job. They are very special and dedicated and each person deserves to be recognized. If I accidentally have left anyone out, I truly apologize. General Manager - Nichole Casteneda Front Desk Agent - Jaculine Front Desk Agent - Evelyn Front Desk Agent - Karina Front Desk Agent / Manager in Training - Alejandro Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent - Anthony Night Auditor - Armani Assistant General Manager/ Sales Manager - Everett Walker Food & Beverage Director - Shawn Patterson I also don't want to leave out the housekeeping staff. They also have made me feel welcome and have kept my room, cozy and immaculate. Thank you to everyone at the Courtyard by Marriott Kingwood for everything you have done for me. I will never forget the kindness you have shown me during a very difficult chapter in my life.

Well let's start with I always choose Marriott. I have status here. I may have to rethink that. I…read morehave never been charged $40 for early check in. If the room is ready I have always been able to check in. 2nd I worked from 11 to 11 and couldn't wait to pass out in my bed! Well I did pass out and woke up unable to move. The bed was a brick. 3rd the refrigerator in the room kept turning off. Come to find out it has a button - off for 8 hours or on for 2 hours. What??!! What if I want to use the fridge as a fridge? Push the button every two hours. Not possible. That was the solution provided by hotel staff. But the premium rooms we were told have a regular fridge with no button. So they swapped it out. Guess what? Yes you guessed it - the buttons are there. Those "premium" rooms have the same fridge that is not a fridge. More of a drink cooler. Everett was nice enough to bring the "cooler" fridge and proceeded to say that we had huge trays in the fridge. They were two standard to go boxes. So no, not huge. But since we lost about $30 worth of food, he invited us to eat dinner and breakfast on the house. I give him points for that but not the jabs. That was not professional at all. It was like he was trying to tell us it was our fault the not-fridge wasn't working. Even in shit box hotels the fridge is a fridge. I thought Courtyard was, as they say, premium. This experience, although Everett tried to make it right, left me disappointed. Say no to Kingwood Marriott - there are plenty of others to choose from.

We found the hotel to be very affordable and the rooms were quite large. We also really enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub since it rained most of the time we were here. The hot tub and pool were very clean and the hot tub was the hottest one I have ever used, which was so relaxing. Worth every penny. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was free included with the price of the room. Cute, cute! I made a Texas waffle and had some yogurt on the side. Coffee and hot water for tea was always available in the lobby, which was also nice. We were extremely tired after our flight and travels and a hotel graciously allowed us to check in early which we were grateful for. Cons the only negative was the Wifi situation. We were given a Wi-Fi passcode, but I have AT&T and even logging onto the hotel's Wifi, which I would normally never do, I could not get any reception on my iPhone, not with their Wi-Fi nor with my cellular so strange. It wasn't that big of a problem for us, but it would be majorly inconvenient if you were trying to do remote work. Hotel is located right on the feeder road of the highway, but we requested a room towards the back so we did not hear any road noise. The hotel graciously accommodated our request. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return if we ever found ourselves in the area again. Very convenient location with lots of awesome amenities. Couldn't be happier!!!'

Not only did they never clean my room, but the maid SAW me leave my room, even said hi to me, and still skipped my room. When I got back in the evening, they had already gone for the day. WTF? The minor one? Location, and even then it's not bad. It's a good location in terms of access, but hard to find and a little odd.
