We unpacked everything and decided to lay in our beds exhausted to watch a movie. To our disgust BED BUGS were crawling all over both beds. We had to pack up everything and leave at 11:30 pm, the middle of the night. The man at the front said everything will be fixed the next day. At most the manager offered us 50% off. He said "bed bugs happen" " it's not uncommon". We couldn't believe it, we still had to pay for a room we couldn't even sleep in!!!!!!!!!! Please please please chose any other hotel. It was a bit tricky to find the office because they are renovating, but renovations are always good! I didn't get a chance to visit the pool, but it looked really nice. I saw they also had a small gym. Nothing fancy, but still a great amenity to have. My room itself was pretty decent. It was clean, the bathroom was fairly nice, and I had both a fridge and microwave. Nice big TV, a desk, etc. I also appreciated the keurig and had a nice cup of coffee in the morning. My room came with a voucher for breakfast at the attached restaurant, which was an absolutely wicked breakfast. I definitely recommend this spot if you are passing through Lloyd!

Hey All, This Best…read moreCanadian Motor Inns it pretty bad, I get to stay in quite a few hotels inns and motels, but this is currently one of the worst. The check in process was the best part of the stay everything after that went down hill. When we go to our room it smelt very bad, kind of like when you leave you sweaty gym clothes in the corner just a little too long. Next came the shower after a long days work the the shower was pretty decent there was good water pressure and was able to get nice and hot. It is now time to go to bed. This is probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on I It is hard as a rock, lumpy, and rocks back and forth! I think the floor or my work van would of giving me a better night sleep. The the next morning I head down to the restaurant for some breakfast and and surprise surprise it isn't any better the the rest of the hotel. The service was quite poor and the food was also about a 2 out of 5, but that is for a different review. So I spend the day working then head back to the hotel. Look everything in my room is cleaned up but, my bed is not made if anything it looks worse then the way that I left it. I called down to the front desk to let them know that this had happened and the person on the other end of the phone just laughed! So all and all I have this hotel 2 starts only because the check-in process was quite easy and the showers are wonderful other then that the 3 nights I stayed here were pretty poor. This has been my favorite hotel in Lloydminister so far and is worth mentioning…read more There staff are always great and take an interest in there guest( Bryan has been my favorite so far ) The rooms are great very clean and modern with fridges, microwaves and work desk The gym is simple with Dumbbells going up to 50Lb and three treadmills plus bikes, Pilate matts, medicine balls and benches. Also last I was here two of their treadmills were down it's been a whole month now and it's good to see they repaired them so upkeep here is great. One of the things that's a little different here as they have a snack shack that essentially is all of those things you wanted night AKa chocolate, chips, snack foods etc. there are also drinks (non alcoholic) and some food items. The breakfast here is really good as well with 3 rotating Items and waffles plus all the usual pastry, breads, cereals etc. you can enjoy that in your room or there really pretty dinning room. This place is built on the Hampton square which has a Gas station and two restaurants currently

"It's being fixed" It doesn't take a week to reset routers, so lying directly to my face isn't the best thing to do. On top of that, it is so throttled that 1/2 the time, it won't load web sites even for the hour that it did work. The rooms themselves are standard rooms you find. They're clean and the housekeeping staff are efficient. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom is spacious. The toilet was very weird. It is crooked and doesn't point straight out, but to the left instead. UPDATE before I had even finished and posted the review. One of my group was assured that Shaw had been contacted and scheduled to show up today to work on the internet problem by a person at the front desk. Shaw and I call BS. I didn't trust that 'assurance', and I called Shaw to verify. No calls made, and no service calls booked. When you're lying, I see through it. My gold IHG is worthless now since I won't stay at any of their hotels again. The housekeeping staff can't understand a note that says "Don't tuck in the sheets" and still takes the $5 I left them after tucking in said sheets. This hotel sucks. I travel every week as part of my job, and will be in town for another month. Days Inn will enjoy the money for my stay now. $50 that they have better wifi as well.
