Came here on a whim since I was in the area and had a hankering for Thai. The restaurant is in an assuming business park across the street from Walmart with a bunch of other little shops surrounding it. They have maybe 6-8, four person tables inside and a couple of tables outside. I came in and sat down since they had menus on the tables but I think I was supposed to go up and order but the cashier/server was like it was totally fine. It was a bit confusing. I think perhaps they do a lot of to go stuff ‍ I ordered padkapao (sp?) which is just a basil stir fry with tofu as my protein. It was pretty good. I asked for the "hot" spicy level and it was about a medium spice to my taste. But considering every other restaurant in Oahu, you may want to go lower if you're sensitive to spice and/or used to the milder spice prevalent here. The next one up was "Thai hot" which I think I'll try next time. It's a basic stir fry so it came out quick. Nothing to complain about everything was tasty. I want to come back to try different entrees. I wish they would have had a lunch menu because the portion I had was too much for me in one sitting g but will serve as a nice meal for dinner. All in all a nice little restaurant. I live in the Aiea area and wouldn't hesitate to travel back there for a meal or two. read more

Rock solid Thai restaurant in all places way far out west in Kapolei (yes, I'm a townie). Prices are reasonable, the food is pretty food and portions are actually generous than the typical Thai restaurant. The pad thai is pretty good, just a bit on the sweet side, nothing that bad. Big plate of noodles that will satisfy your carb craving. Duck curry is probably the best dish in our visit. The duck is tender and moist and soaked in the curry flavor, not just added at the last minute to the curry. Recommended for sure. read more

Enjoyed our lunch today! I'm bummed that I didn't get any pictures today!! The waitress was so nice and answered all our questions that we had about the items on the menu. We ended up ordering the spring rolls, fried calamari, and fried chicken for appetizers. All appetizers came out within less than 15 mins of putting the order in. Each appetizer came out hot and sooo delicious!! For our main dishes that was shared among 4 of us, we ordered Crab Fried Rice, Basil Fried Noodles, Mussaman Curry, Jasmine Sticky Rice, and a coconut soup with seafood. Everything was delicious. I do have to say if you don't want too sweat of a soup the coconut soup (I forgot the name!!) with the seafood was not for us but still delicious. It was our first time trying the Mussaman Curry and that was a mixture of the Yellow and Panang (Peanut) Curries. It was so delicious and it will definitely be on my list of things to order again! We arrived around 1145am and the service was quick. There were maybe 4 other table being occupied and the restaurant wasn't too busy yet. They also have one table to sit outside and dine. Food was good but their spice level is off for their salad. Twice we ordered medium for the papaya salad and it was extremely hot, closer to Thai hot. Photo attached of the chili peppers I pulled out from papaya salad. We always order medium as our spice level for all of our dishes We also got their yellow curry, green curry, green bean with pork & pad thai. The spice levels were perfect on those dishes. Food is inconsistent. Usually pretty good, but there's been times the fried chicken or pork chops are dry. Worst part is the customer service. We've ordered from Supa Thai many times, but they're curt & borderline rude, especially over the phone. Asking for a price is like an inconvenience & insult. I was craving for Thai food so I picked up my sister and brother-in-law and head down to the Westside Kapolei. My favorite Thai food place Supa Thai thank you to Mr. Chinatown Paul.C recommending this place and I've been here 2 times already and of course more in the future. Today I wanted their crab fried rice but they were all out today . So I settle for the shrimp fried rice which was also good. We also ordered the fried chicken, Duck pineapple curry, spring roll and their broccoli shrimp and chow fun . I was surprised to discover that the restaurant is owned by a waitress who worked at a couple Thai restaurants in town. The food here is excellent. I had the Drunken Noodles, it has a proper name but, I have always known them as Drunken Noodles and every Thai Restaurant I have ever been to knows exactly what I'm ordering. They were the best I have found so far on the island and I may not search any further. My wife had the spring rolls and she said they were the best on the island too. The staff is very friendly and the service is great!! I highly recommend this restaurant to first time or long time people that enjoy or are exploring for Authentic Thai Cuisine. read more

So I went back in after my really bad experience and tried again and told them about what happened. We ordered green curry and pad ki mao again. Curry was good, not amazing, pad ki mao also good but not like the first time. They didn't charge for the ki mao and the service was excellent! Still room to make it more like the first time.... This place is right in the new mini shopping center across Walmart in Kapolei and is next door to Panda Express and across the from Dickey's BBQ. It's a small little place that's good to dine in or take out if you want to eat in the comfort of home or have a larger party. The people that work here are super nice and friendly. I called in my order and even let them know I was using a coupon I had from shopping at the local Safeway. This was our first time eating here, so we figured why not give it a try and I'm glad we did. We got the crispy pork chop appetizer for $13.95 and it was pretty big portion for being an appetizer and for the price. I would have been happy eating just this and rice to be honest it was so good lol. My husband liked it and said that it reminded him of the pork chops we'd get at Side Street Inn. It came with a dipping sauce, but it did well all on its own. We also ordered the Pad Ki-Mao (basil noodle) with chicken so it was $15.95. It's Chow fun noodles stir fried in Chinese wok with egg, broccoli, beansprouts, and basil in soy sauce with chicken as our protein. A little greasy at the bottom but all noodles like that from anywhere are, and it was good. I'm going to order it Thai spicy next time because I missed the heat. The same goes for the chicken red curry we got for $15.95 I'll get that Thai spicy too next time, but nothing that a little sriracha couldn't do. It was a lot of curry and I didn't think it had enough chicken in it but maybe that was just my luck that i ended up with mostly vegetables. The taste was great and was perfect for a cool night. We definitely will be coming back for these dishes in the future and to try some of their other noodle dishes and noodle soups if we dine in. read more

Thanks to the many Yelpers who recommended Supa Thai. I've been recently venturing out to try more Thai food. This place has Supa good food and the service was Supa good too! I walked up to the front door and looked at the menu on the window and a friendly employee sitting outside on their break asked if I had any questions. She was very helpful with recommendations. I ended up selecting the Combination B: Green Thai Curry with Vegetables and Thai Fried Chicken for take out. I was surprised it even includes a can drink of your choice (coke, ice tea etc) from their refrigerator. The Thai Fried Chicken was pretty good. It was crispy on the outside and tender inside and tasted good with the included sauce. The Green Thai Curry was very tasty with a lot of vegetables. However, it was a tad spicy for me probably because I don't normally eat spicy foods. For what she explained, the Yellow Curry is regular, Green Curry is spicy and the Red Curry is the spiciest. I also got the Taro Tapioca for dessert. It was a bit watery but tasted good. I waited outside and my food was brought out to me. I didn't have to wait a long time. She said "hope you will enjoy your food" as she handed it to me. She seemed very sincere and it seems they are genuinely concerned about how their food tastes. This combo turned out to more food than I expected so I saved some to eat later. This place is very clean and looks new and there is lots of parking. Forgot to take pics cause the food looked so Ono and we were hungry. Anyways...Supa Thai is Supa Ono! We started off with the papaya salad. Papaya was crunchy and the dressing was a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. We also ordered fried chicken appetizer and chicken pad thai. My wife said it was the best fried chicken she's ever had. Supa crunchy but tender and moist inside. The pad Thai was Supa good too. Noodles cooked perfectly with tons of chicken and tofu. The sauce was just right, not overpowering. When a foodie friend raves about a restaurant. You listen. When that restaurant is in Kapolei and you're a townie, you think about it. When that foodie friend suggests going there with other foodie friends, you take that plunge. Thank you, Judy C. You see, Judy C. is a regular at Supa Thai (ST), which has been serving Thai cuisine to Kapolei since March 2022. The family previously operated at Malee Thai Restaurant in Keeaumoku from 2014 to 2020. My foodie friends agreed to an early dinner at 5pm on a weekday. I was dreading the drive to Kapolei from town during rush hour. Thank goodness for GPS as I was able to locate ST and scored parking nearby. I had pursued their menu prior to my friends arriving and the photo gallery was impressive. Many of the dishes looked promising and we gathered everyone's input with the food order. But mainly, I followed Judy C.'s recommendations as she's the Duchess pf ST with 19 check-ins' (as of 7/9/2023). We ordered an array of dishes and personally, the crispy pork chops, crab fried rice, spring rolls and the fried chicken were delicious. But If I had to choose the best dish of the evening it would be the duck noodle soup with glass noodles. The broth was so hearty with a rich duck essence with julienne duck, bean sprout, green onion, and cilantro. I'd order this again in a heartbeat. The papaya salad and Thai chow funn (PAD SEE-EW) were notable but I 've had better. The PAD SEE-EW was missing that smoky and charred factor that I look for. We were served the red curry with pork (Thai spicy level) in error as we later found out this dish belonged to the table next to us, but several friends had already sampled the dish. We only found out after eating because the dish was too spicy for the majority to eat. The staff was apologetic and allowed us to keep the dish as we had already touched the dish. I wasn't a fan of their green curry that came with the Supa Combo menu as the curry was bland, and the Thai Laksa (KHAO SOI). I didn't care for the crispy noodles on top and the usage of chicken drumsticks in this dish. For dessert, we got 2 rotees (one each of vanilla and chocolate ice cream) and the mango with sticky rice. For me, the rotee was nothing to write home about but I really enjoyed the mango sticky rice, which I shamelessly volunteered finishing off the plate. ST is BYOB so several of my dining mates brought adult happy juice. Staff was cordial and had a handful on the floor that day. It seems that ST is a staple in the Kapolei community evidenced by the heavy foot traffic on a Thursday late-afternoon/early evening with dining in and carry out. Overall, a very pleasant first experience at ST where I am looking forward to a return visit. I hope to drag along my family soon as they also enjoy Thai food. read more

I called to place an order for pickup, using the online menu and the picture with the name of the dishes. The picture showed white rice, fire egg, bamboo, green beans, and meat Thai Hot Basil Pad Kapao. I just wanted to make sure that the correct dish with white rice was ordered. The person who took the order was very rude and told me: 'You have to say the combo.' I explained to her that there was no mention of a combo. After placing my order, I didn't feel comfortable and called back to cancel it. I don't know how much business they get or how busy they are, but that is unacceptable. read more

Great Thai food and decent prices! We had gone to the water park with my daughter and after we wanted to pickup some food to bring back to our home in Aiea. They were fast, friendly, and efficient in our order. The Tom Yum soup was delicious full of lemongrass and other tasty things, and the pad Thai was a perfect mix of chewy sweet noodles. New Thai restaurant located in Kapolei across Dick's barbecue pit. The staff was friendly and the food was good. The tables are on the small side so if you bring a large party you may have a difficult time finding seating. Otherwise we ordered 5-6 dishes which were tasty although I've had better. Got tofu pad Thai and it was so good! Reminds me of the Thai food I had in Seattle (which is a good thing). I've longed for a good pad Thai on island and I think this might be my favorite so far. I live on the east side so this is a bit of a far drive for me. Anytime I'm near Supa Thai and craving Thai food, this will be my go-to spot! The service was very nice.
