I was blocked off did not get to meet anyone despite my 5 requests for a meeting or phone call, and my daughter was expelled without a meeting. This has caused us a lot of stress. My little one was separated from Her first friends in Life. If you ate nervous about transitioning your kid choose a good school where they wont be just a number. I met Nessa, the owner, about two years ago when I had to switch my son here, quite suddenly. He was going through a tough time, and she and the teachers there worked with me, every step of the way. He went from being a kid who was standoffish and lonely, to a boy who has almost too many friends to invite to his birthday parties. Nessa took a personal interest in him, and he absolutely blossomed in Little Learners. They have a location on Drumcondra road near the train station, and are opening up another location near DCU. I'm not saying you should have kids *just* to experience the wonders of this particular Montessori.... but I'm not NOT saying it, either. From hearing staff shout at babies (of course denied) and this week a witness a group of 1 year olds all stand around one staff member all being fed at the same time from the same BOWL with the same SAME SPOON! I reported this to Siobhan who is the most rudest/ unprofessional person I've ever came across couldn't even offer an apology. Shes her mothers daughter. Safe to say I took my child out straight Way. I seen other things such as I'd walk by and get my child's attention and she would scream cry because she seen me. But the staff wouldn't even flinch to see if she is okay, they would carry on walking around and ignoring my child. When you flag this with staff the outcome is the blind is fully pulled down so you can't see in when walking past. With the flu, Covid, step A & RSA spreading among children. They have no care to what the children may pick up from sharing food & spoons. Some things never change, silly of me for thinking they have changed since the RTE investigation. Avoid. To note, I had my other child in the same childcare provider 'bo-peeps' in cabra for 5 years and not once did I ever raise a concern, I could also trust the girls and know she was well cared for. Unfortunately the crèche has closed since.
