We went on July 3rd on a Sunday and it was a beautiful day out. Sunny with 10% chance of rain, which is good for summer in Florida. The weather was perfect. We arrived to Bahia Mar Marina and checked in at the Tropical Sailing office by the main entrance, located behind Market Cafe. Once we checked in, we went over to the marina where the catamaran was located. There was a group total of maybe 30 people on our cruise. Our captain was Ernesto aka "E" and then Nick who was the bartender/first mate. E and Nick were awesome. E had jokes all day long and was so good about informing everyone about rules and things to do and not do. Nick was so good catering to our kids, we had 13 people total in our party and 7 of those were kids. He was great about tending to them and making sure the kids were happy for the duration of the cruise They offered free snacks, bottled water and sodas with the ticket price. You could open a tab and buy alcoholic beverages during the cruise. They had beer, White Claw and wine. Very affordable prices. Worth it if you want to drink. We sailed to Fort Lauderdale Beach area in the middle of the ocean and they put out the water mat and trampoline. And the water slide was in full effect. We got to hang and lounge here for maybe 1-2 hours? Hard to say as we didn't keep track of time and we were too busy having fun to notice. It was a good amount of time though for everyone to jump in the water and play. When it was time to leave, E and Nick pulled everything out of the water while most of us lounged on the net. You can only lay on the net when the catamaran is not moving. We sailed back to the marina and almost everyone was passed out and dunzo! What an awesome day on the catamaran. Great fun had by all. I also was not drinking alcohol, along with a couple of the other girls and she remembered that and when she was offering drinks always offered us a water instead of a can and that made me feel really included and I appreciate that so much. The staff member was great, very informative and very helpful. He explained a few things of importance before we left the dock. I have 20+ years boating experience, so I was a quicker learner on the boat controls than most. We hit the water and toured around the inter coastal for a bit, then hit the open water. It was windy and rough outside the cruise port so we opted to return to calmer waters. We drove around and found a cool little sandbar and docked there for the rest of the day and had fun swimming and eating. There was even a food boat on the water that would bring food right to your boat. Think floating food truck. Overall the day was great, the rental boat was great, the weather was great and the staff and location was great. I would most definitely rent a boat from 100 Pro Boats again next time I'm in south Florida.

We searched the internet for options, and came upon Michael at 100 pro boats. We booked very last minute and he was able to accommodate and the booking process was quick and easy. His boat was perfectly maintained and in pristine condition. He gave us the instructions, and kept them thorough yet simple to understand. He gave us great recommendations, for places to stop and things to see and he was so friendly to my two children. You can tell Michael is a wealth of knowledge about the area and he is very passionate about what he does. I knew we were in great hands and I couldn't have asked for a better day on the water. When my family was embarking on a cruise from Fort Lauderdale, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to introduce my own kids to the Jungle Queen. It's a short boat ride that takes you through the canals behind the mansions and quasi-famous homes on the water. Your guide on board will tell you about the homes and landmarks you pass en route. There is a bar on board, so no need to sail sober! LOL There are also a few snacks for purchase. The air movement on the boat keeps you from getting too warm, even when the sun is blazing, but don't forget your sunscreen. There's no bad seat aboard. All in all, it's a nice little boat ride if you're looking to get outside and burn some time in Fort Lauderdale. There is a string of food shops along the waterfront outside the entrance, so you can plan to grab lunch or dinner before or after your ride. We really enjoyed our trip, but I'm deducting one star due to the boat traffic (which I know they cannot really help). Maneuvering around all the other drunks in their watercraft was kind of a drag.

Alex was our captain and was great the entire trip. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and did a nice job pointing out houses, yachts, and different spots along the water without overdoing it. The whole ride was relaxing and never felt rushed. If you're looking for something different to do in Fort Lauderdale that's actually worth it, I'd definitely recommend them.

So I had to call again on the day of the trip. The captain called a few hrs before to let us know he is awaiting our arrival and to share some information in reference to parking. Once we got to the location the parking described was a bit hard to identify. This may have been on me but there were a lot of parking spots that belonged to different boat companies. Call the captain he told us to stay were we are and he was standing about 100 yds out. Finally in the boat.
