It could use some remodeling in the rooms because it looked worn. We could not use the bathroom one afternoon because it would not flush. When they power washed our veranda balcony in the middle of the cruise it left paint chips over everything. What a mess. The main atrium was small compared to the Beyond ship and the elevated tree was held up by large ropes that made it look cheap. We did not get one of our 2 suitcases until late in the evening because it got lost on the ship. That made it difficult to get dressed for dinner. On the second day the sauna on the men's side was not working correctly. The gym is very clean and maintained so that is a plus. Think twice about the excursions they offer. The Damajagua Waterfalls and the Snorkeling at Pearl Island were both disasters. Not the cruise line's fault but they should get different excursions for their guests as these two were bad. The Monkeyland excursion was a lot of fun and the food they served was good. Even though there were some drawbacks to this cruise there were some really good things about it. The restaurants were all very good. We ate at the buffet, Moonlight Sonata Dining Room, Luminae, and Murano. We never had a bad meal and the service was outstanding. That is one of the reasons we go on Celebrity Cruises because they have the best food and service out of all the other cruise lines we have been on. The lounges and bars are very nice also. If you get a chance to go to Michael's Club, I recommend it as they treat you like royalty. The cruise staff is very friendly and helpful. After everything is said and done the only recommendation is to make sure you cruise on a newer ship.

As far as these ships go, they are the best I've ever been aboard with superior food, service, cleanliness, lay out and general appearance. They are modern, done in whites and chromes of tasteful décor as opposed to the more staid appearance of Cunard lines or the chintzy over embellished frumpy gaudy mausoleum modern décor found aboard the ships of the Princess Lines. One point I have noticed about all of these ships however is that there seems to be a big differences in food and services you receive if doing a loop or regular cruise as opposed to doing a crossing or repositioning. With the exception of Cunard which specializes in crossings, all of the other cruise lines seem to cut back on food and services when doing repositioning's. I recently found this very evident when recently when crossing from Fort Lauderdale to Lisbon aboard Celebrity Equinox with the obvious absence good entertainment, ice sculptures, lobster nights, a March of the Baked Alaska & etc. However, if I were to pick one of these Celebrity ships as the better of them, it would be the Solstice. It just seemed to have a livelier fun filled crew and the Captain, Demetrius, was the first real hoot of a Captain I've ever had aboard any ship as he seemed to fill the place with a certain amount of humor as well as fun. We had our two boys with us (9&11) and they both made sure they were involved and that they caught their fair share of fish. They both worked very hard to make sure we had a great experience. They were knowledgeable about the area and where to find the fish. They were talkative and made sure that the boys learned things as we went through the day about how they knew where to find fish, things about boating, the area and the fish. They had a cooler stocked with ice for us to put our food and drinks in. This was helpful since we were out there for so long. Ben was on point with what needed to be done to ensure we had a great experience also. He was all over the boat hooking up lines, bait, watching multiple lines and helping the kids. Captain Himey also was helping when he wasn't navigating the boat. He knew the hot spots to take us so that we had the best chance of catching fish. On the way in he also stopped along the jetty for the kids to catch a few more small fish, he knew they were there and that they would bit quick. It was a great ending to the day. Everyone had a blast. It was well worth the cost. Wish we would have been able to keep the fish but we couldn't. Not doable in a hotel. The captain and Ben were going to make sure it all went to good use. Great experience, HIGHLY recommend.

RUN - CPT HIMEY / BRANDON ARE THIEVES…read more on June 16th, 2023, my family and other friends booked a private fishing trip with Captain Himey, and another employee by the name of Brandon. What seemed harmless at first quickly devolved into an atrocious nightmare to put it the nicest way possible. We were a small group of 6 people, relatively new to fishing, and wanted a nice birthday surprise for my father. We caught 3 LARGE BLACKFIN TUNA(this is important), Brandon a staff member mentioned that it was the biggest blackfin he's seen on this boat. Toward the end of the trip, CPT HIMEY began to scold my dad out loud about his fishing technique. My dad ignored him so that CPT HIMEY's soft shallow crumbling ego wouldn't dissolve into thin air. CPT HIMEY repeated his rude comments for about 10-15 minutes while nobody responded to him. This was a surprise as it's not only incredibly disrespectful, irresponsible, and unprofessional. We paid a lot of money for a private boat and we should at least expect mutual respect. IF you thought this could not get worse, just wait After the most horrific service I've ever had the grueling pain of experiencing CPT HIMEY & BRANDON are on the phone yelling "What the fuck is this tip, i worked my fucking ass off" in front of us. My family was so happy to get off his boat safely. The man is insane and should not be trusted to drive a boat into the ocean. The boat docks and Brandon starts to cut our fish, we specifically requested that nobody cuts the fish about 4-5 times. He slices the fish poorly leaving lots of meat on the bones and filets cut in half. We watch him cut one Tuna, he says he cut the rest of the fish on the boat. HE REPEATS 3 more times that the other tunas are already cut... strange that they were cut separately. We arrive back home (a 2-hour drive away) We open all our bags and notice that we have 2 filets of tuna in a plastic bag. SURPRISE, they stole two of our fish. We send a photo to the owner of the company. HE calls us to tell us that they were unhappy with their tip and then tells us that they actually just forgot to take out our fish, he later explains that we can drive back to them tomorrow and they will cut the fish. Our immediate question was, you mentioned multiple times the fish is already cut, Brandon and CPT HIMEY also mentioned multiple times on the boat that the fish was cut. We were never given a time or location to meet and simply a "come tomorrow" As if they aren't out on the boats all day. We were reminded multiple times that we should've tipped even more, AS IF our tip warrants the theft of our fish. End of the story is that CPT HIMEY & BRANDON, stole our fish, disrespected my family and the children on the boat. It does not feel safe or welcoming and is not cheap at all. STAY AWAY FROM FINWAY FISHING, WASTE OF TIME MONEY AND FISH. We never received our fish back

Asked a local where to parasail and they sent us here. So glad they did. They sail every 2 hours…read morestarting at 9am and expect to be out there for about 75-90 minutes depending on how many people are sailing. The ride through the inter coastal was relaxing and we learned who owns some of the ridiculous mansions we saw. Before you get to the ocean, you'll get your life jacket and harness on and once you hit the ocean, hang on! I enjoyed the boat ride just as much as parasailing! Speaking of, sailing was awesome. Great views and it hardly feels like you are moving when you're so high up. Overall, great experience. Only after did my husband tell me he is scared of heights! Highly recommend.

Wanted to take her jet skiing. But my plan was almost derailed when a google search turned up 2 horrible "companies". If you can even call them that. The first place doesn't exist, literally a fake name with a fake address, and they told me a didn't need a reservation and sent me to a place on the beach that had terrible customer service and apparently no jet skis to rent. I guess he was wrong about needing a reservation. So we ended up here on the recommendation from a friendly parking liaison. All of the guys at Ft. Lauderdale Parasail were really friendly and outgoing. They made us feel welcome and they really took care of us! The overall experience was so much better han we could hope for. The way it works is you start off on the taking the skis out with a guide on intercostal and since there's a speed limit, it takes about 10-15 mins to get to the open ocean where you can really open those baby's up. Initially I wasn't stoked about this idea but It's actually pretty cool because you get a nice tour while you cruise for the first few mins while getting used to the jet skis so by the time you get to the ocean you're ready for all out throttle. Plus the intercostal is a really nice sight. Again my appreciation goes out to Dan and George, who really exceeded my expectations and saved what started out as a complete nightmare. Will definitely visit these guys again!!

Everyone that answered the phone or really nice and helpful with the reservations as well as the person who helped us into the boat. Honestly, I liked everything about the company and the experience. The only one thing to note as a negative was that I think they perhaps exaggerated a bit with the number of restaurants that we could stop at but that was OK because we only needed one. We did end up stopping at a place to grab a burger and it was fantastic. All in all it was a really great day and we were definitely come back.

I have never written a review but have had no other choice to write this review in hopes that other people will not be taken advantage by this company Below is a sequence of events that occurred and how their company decided to handle it... - 8/30/24 we rented a boat at the agreed upon price of $728.85 - 8/30/24 after we returned the boat we were prompted to leave a tip. We were happy with the service and wanted to leave a $15 dollar tip, instead BY ACCIDENT we clicked 15% - 8/30/24 On the way back we were notified by our bank of the incorrect charge of $109.32 and immediately called Rueben to ask him to adjust it to $15, We were assured this would be adjusted - 9/1/24 We called again to confirm this was going to be handled and was notified that "corporate" would be processing the refund - 9/5/24 Another call & email was sent as we still had not seen the refund. Again we were told "Corporate" would be handling it - 9/10/24 We had no other choice but to dispute the charge with Chase - 9/24/24 Chase contacted us to let us know we needed to speak to the company directly for a refund to be issued - 10/01/24 We called again and let them know that Chase them to refund the funds. We were told AGAIN "corporate" would handle it - 10/28/24 I personally went into their office and spoke to Rueben and explained the situation, which he was fully aware of. He told me the matter was out of his hands and that we signed off on the paperwork. I let him know yes we indeed did signed off but we notified him within an hour that was an incorrect amount and he assured us it would be adjust it. He mentioned he would speak to the owner (Peter) later that day, as he was coming into the office. I specifically asked him to please call us back by the end of the day with an update, again he assured me this would happen. This NEVER happened. I also asked him for your direct number and could not be given this info. - 11/5/24 I sent one final email to Peter asking him to please refund us and no answer If you want to do business with a dishonest, unresponsive, 0 customer service company- please do business with them. We have rented from them multiple times and this is how they treat repeat customers. There are many other options in the area to take your business too.
