I utilized Vegas View Window Cleaning in 2018 & 2019 when is was formerly known as Summerlin Window Cleaning many moons ago. Their name changed to Vegas View Window Cleaning at some point in 2020 I think. But despite the name change, they have been in business for some time. When I finally recognized that I am the crappiest window cleaner to ever touch a piece of glass, I called Vegas View Window Cleaning to do the job and spoke to Andrew. (It is the streaks....I can't do them myself and it drives me crazy to see them!) Andrew is the owner and although I have never met him face-to-face, each time I had a booking for window cleaning, he could not be nicer. If you leave a message, he calls back pretty promptly and is cheerful to assist in booking the appointment. He always seem very grateful for my business. Eric was the window guy who came out this past Monday to clean my very dirty windows and screens. He was on-time, he was laser focused on the job, he was nice and my windows look sparkly clean with not a single smudge or steak (NOT A ONE!). LOOK ELSEWHERE! I spent a lot of time trying to find a window company. I came across Vegas on Yelp. There wasn't a lot of reviews but the ones posted were good. Response time was good. My windows were cleaned on July 2nd, 2022. I must say I'm disappointed. I had to constantly hand hold while the guy was here. I asked why my window tracks weren't cleaned while he was cleaning my windows and he explained it was extra. I said okay, and he said he'd clean them. As he proceeded to clean my windows throughout the house I checked the ones cleaned. The windows were clean but the tracks and screens STILL looked half cleaned. Some window tracks were completely missed all together. Screens had debris removed but looked dirty and dusty still. He took the screens off but they should've been hosed down and washed properly. They were only wiped down. He said he doesn't use a hose. A rag works fine. I pretty much spent the entire time while he was here for hours pointing out MANY missed areas. Not what I expected. Not happy. After the appointment I was spammed twice asking for a 5 star review. No way that was a 5 star job. I messaged Chris explaining my disappointment. I must say I was quite shocked in his response. I was told what a "great deal" I was given. Okay???? So I get less quality service then for it??? He said they don't "soak screens" and water is bad for AZ screens. What?! Uh, I didn't want them soaked I wanted them washed and rinsed! As for water being bad for AZ screens, that's interesting. Guess I better shield them from the rain! I guess other window companies and Bob Villa are wrong about proper ways to clean screens. All say to use mild detergent, a rag and garden hose. This was a time factor plain and simple. More work and effort. I guess that "great deal" he gave me meant less effort and a mediocre job! It's so sad now that businesses can't just own their mistakes. It's always the "customers fault". Sorry Vegas, this is a YOU problem. read more
