I can say with full confidence that I have found that mechanic with Motonautica! They worked on my Kohler generator and was able to diagnose the no start problem with ease! They are very knowledgeable and treat their customers with the upmost respect! I highly recommend Motonautica for marine engine services.

I knew the…read morecar would need a lot of work and attention, and All American Automotive was recommended by some classic car owners in my neighborhood. They work on classics, moderns, diesels and RVs! I called to add myself to their waitlist and was happy when they called! I had the car towed in, and they worked tirelessly on her for a month. I appreciated that the owner, Kevin, took the time to go through all of the items that they noticed on inspection. He included a thorough list and estimated prices for each line item, and then talked through the list with me at length to decide what was a 'must have' and what was a 'wish list' item. He also told me what items i could do myself to save money, and gave me pointers on how to do them. Anytime something would come up that would cause additional cost or time, he was sure to call and inform me. I also appreciated that Kevin took the time to teach me about my car in a respectful and friendly way! All too often, as a woman, I feel slighted by mechanics who think that I either don't know or don't care about what is going on. Kevin went the extra mile when my car died on her drive home from the shop. He met me at the gas station where I was dead in the water, diagnosed the problem, ordered a part for us that we picked up around the corner, and installed it right there in the gas station parking lot. then followed me home to make sure it was ok! I've never experienced such great service and dedication from a shop before. He's earned a customer for life!

I had an excellent experience with Mason and the crew at Southern Boatworks. As the previous long…read morereview states, Mason is a hands-on owner and is generally found out in the yard actively directing and supervising the work, rather than sitting in the office. He is knowledgeable, courteous and knows what he is doing. He is busy, but attentive to his customers and is quick to return a call. It is clear that he has been working in and around boats most of his life. His attention to detail and level of concern about the quality of work performed is refreshing. My boat needed fiberglass work after she was struck while tied to the dock. Mason prepared an estimate for the damages, communicated with the opposing insurance company to ensure they had the information they needed, arranged a spot for my boat (she is too wide to haul out at his slip), and he ensured the work was performed on-time and on-budget. In addition, I needed a water maker installed, and he made sure that was done on time and on budget as well. To make sure it was completed as promised, he came in on a Saturday and spent most of the day finishing the job himself after one of his crew had called in sick. I have nothing but good things to say about Mason. In addition to Mason, I want to make sure I mention Big Nick and Guillermo. Nick stayed after work to help get work done on the boat, showing his commitment to getting the job done and done well. Guillermo did the fiberglass work, and he is excellent at it. Like Mason, I have nothing but good things to say about Guillermo as well. I know Mason is committed to working with the boating community, and he is currently widening his haul out so he will be able to lift catamarans, which will make his yard the only place in Galveston Bay other than Port Bolivar that can haul out a cat like mine, which is just over 25 feet wide. He is building up his business, and he does good work. Don't hesitate to use his services. Mike Golden
